AAMW

I am doing my first proper add a meal week and after 12 weeks of sole source I can't get myself to finish a plate of chicken and a few broccoli sprouts. It is so strange. To be honest I cannot wait to go back to sole source. I hate having to cook and my tummy feels toooooo heavy :confused:

How has everyone found week 13 aamw?

Hi hon,

I did AAMW every 4th week but the first few days were terrible. Food was lovely but I couldn't finish either; felt SO full! I guess you have trouble eating as you're not hungry etc... it will get better after a few days though, or.. it did for me so hoping it will for you!

I haven't had to do aamw yet because I had 2 planned days off at xmas so that gave me the option of another 12 weeks on ss and now of course I had to eat 2 weeks ago with being poorly so I can now do another 12 weeks of ss if I choose. I was dreading aamw if I am honest but may do some weeks at ss+ in the coming weeks?

In the times that I have eaten, it has been very little and has made me feel full up and 'heavy' too so understand what you are saying.

I've heard it can boost your body so that can only be a good thing and you will be back on ss in no time! :D

it does feel strange eating but I think your body and brain need it, we shouldn't be afraid of food. maybe instead of having it as a meal divide it up into portions as snacks?

We did AAMW last week after 5 weeks SS+ (4 packs and 200 mls skimmed milk) and really enjoyed it. We only had salad and either chicken or tuna with it as per 810 plan, on Valentines night we had fillet steak with garlic prawns/mushrooms and salad. We still had excellent results, we both stayed in ketosis for the whole time. Back on SS+ now for another 4-6 weeks and then planning to move up to 810 plan! Neither of us have had any probs getting back on SS+ after AAMW.
