sure this has been done a few times but thought it might be nice to start another one with so many new members..

    I will start!

I am 36 years old and happily married with one daughter 13 years old.

    I have a british bulldog.

    I live in Hartlepool.

My CD councellor, when I go to see her, is lovely, Julie in newton bewley not far from where I live. (thought this would be a good one to add in incase people are looking for a counsellor, with reviews lol )

I have dieted most of my adult life apart from when pregnant, at my lowest have been 10 stone 7 after loosing 4.5 stone on WW for my wedding and re-gaining slowly over the years. I have tried every diet going and got fatter!!! I am the diet expert but putting it into practice has been my problem lol..

I am starting CD next monday and am determined that this is my year to be slim!!

    Anyone else!!

I am Sharon. I'm 37 living with my partner for the last 9 years. He has a 24 year old daughter from a previous relationship. I have a 13 year old daughter and an 11 year old daughter from a previous relationship and we have a 7 year old daughter together.

We live on the outskirts of Newport, South Wales been down here for about 6 years now, was in Cambridge prior to that but work moved us.

I have had a weight problem most of my adult life. Did LL last year and lost almost 4 stone but have put back about 2 of that. Tried to do it the conventional way but I am now going back to the VLCD and following the Cambridge with the hope to losing about 5 stone.

I meet my new CDC tonight.

I am at home most of the day as I don't work out of the house so if anyone wants a buddy add me on messenger [email protected]

Hi, I am Sharon and new round here:).

I live in Angus in Scotland. I am married (17 years) with no kids and one cat. I have two adorable nieces.

I've done all sorts of diets (Scottish Slimmers, Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Xenical, Reductil, Atkins) but have always put on more than I lost afterwards. So here I am with about 12 stone to lose:cry:.

I've just started CD and am optimistic that I can do it this time and retrain myself not to put more weight back on.

Hello I'm Alison from south west Scotland. I am 32 years of age (but technically 34 ).

I have owned a B&B for 4 1/2 years and prior to that I lived in Swindon and worked in Project Managment.

I have been with my OH for 14 1/2 years, no kids just 1 cat, Baxter, a big old grey much loved lump.

I love to workout and have promised myself to get back into exercise after I have completed 4 weeks of this diet so I wont stray. The gym cafe can be such a temptation and I want to be more prepared to resist the 'healthy' options.

    I'm Debbie, 46 (just!) and married with 4 daughters aged 27, 23, 20 and 12.

I have 2 granddaughters aged 9 and 6 and a grandson due in a couple of weeks :)

I'm a full time student, in my second year at Chichester University studying for a BA Hons in English & Creative Writing with Heritage Studies.

I've had an issue with food and been very overweight since my son died 21 years ago - used food as a crutch back then and have been doing it ever since!

    I'm currently on CD 790.

hello I'm Roisin. I was doing lipotrim and have lost a stone so far this year (YAY!). I have started CD ss today and am feeling very optimistic. I have two children, a boy, 10, and a girl two weeks of her third birthday. I too am a full time student studying for an English Ba. I was a skinny ***** (tho of course didn't know or appreciate it) until 16 when I had my son. I went 'UP' to about 10 and half stone which I stayed at for a few years before going up to 12st. Lost it all (3 stone)on Atkins, then met my OH and that old relationship comfort zone set in...it all crept back on and brought an extra stone and a half to keep it copmpany. So at the start of this year I was 13 and a half stone and by the end I will once more be a skinny *****. lol

I just want to rid myself of the bad eating ahbits I've developed -take aways instead of cooking, sweety treats etc
    So, Good Luck everybody. oxo

Hi Chadleys, Just thought I'd tell you that my cousellor has a woman who was going for the gastric by-pass before losing six stone on CD and has now opted out! It really can work so I hope it has the same effect for you.

Hi I'm Lisa from Newcastle, I'm 36 been married for 9 years and we have 2 girls aged 7 & 2.

I was always a very skinny child, but been overweight most of my adult life. I left home at 18 and the weight piled on. At my heaviest I was 17st 6lb which is when I joined weight watchers and managed to lose 50lb. I put most of that back on. In 2006 I was prescribed Xenical by my gp I managed to lose approx 2 stone but yet again put most of it back on.

So here I am starting 2008 at 15st 8lb. I deceided this year is it either I lose the weight or remain obese for the rest of my days. Only on day 2 but it's going well. I don't think I have ever been this determined about anything before.

Im 40yrs old still feel 16yrs:D I have recently moved to essex from Manchester, I have been married 16yrs and am mum to 2 english mastiffs, and 1 crazy bullmastiff, no luck on the human kind, but still hopeful one way or another, I have about 4 stone to lose, and have been a serial dieter all my adult life. I am a qualified psychiatric nurse, but have not nursed for 4 yrs due to a serious incident at work. I am now desperate to get back to work but just have a couple of hurdles to overcome first, then i dont know what sort of job I will do.
I love my new house it is a 16c thatched cottage, that requires total refurbishment and extension which we hope to start this year as soon as we get planning permission:D (fingers crossed) so not only am I feeling cold because of this diet it also has freezing winds blowing in through the gaps in the windows:rolleyes:

I'm 40 and live in Lancashire. Been married for 16 years and have two children - 8 and 10 and I'm an SAHM.
I have been on and off diets for most of the last 15 years - I would lose a couple of stone and then stop, then put some, all or even more back on  This time I'm intending to get where I want to be as I think I'm more likely to maintain if I've achieved my goal weight.

Have just had my first weigh in today and really pleased with 8lb off, am feeling really well on the diet as well and I have a lovely CDC :D

Hello Im julie 32 and married to steve 37 for the last 11years together 13 years. Together we have 6 children aged 10yr 9yr 7yr 5yr 3yr and 9months(3 boys and 3 girls)

My hubby is a Hackney cab driver and I am a full time mum and also a CDC in Norwich

Have always been big all my adult life being 15 stone at school and went upto 20stone 7 at my heaviest. Decided to lose weight after my eldest was being bullied and wanted to try for number 6 child. I also have PCOS and was told I would need fertility treatment and needed to lose weight to go private. I lost 7 stone in just under 6 months and fell with my last child Emily. I put on nearly 5 stone with her and have since started cambridge diet again and am now down to 13 stone ( 7lbs less than i got down to before)
I want to lose another stone which at my height of just under 6ft would be perfect for me and also the smallest I have ever been since i was a teenager.

Goals for this year - Lose the last stone - have another tattoo done - boob job lol

    I'm very tired so here...have what is in my bebo page;

There is not too much I can say here as generally if you know me you know some of this, or maybe even all of it. Give it a browse and you may learn something new about the owner of this bebo page!

I go by 3 names generally. Stephen is used by the family and uni folks, for tis my first name. I have been "Puggs" since I was about 8 and is used exclusively by those who know me from Greenock and the surrounding area. Lastly, for the last 4 years, I have also been known as "Fozzy" (or simply Foz) to those within my last 2 pipe bands and generally those I do know through piping. Some of whom don't even know my real name!

I play the pipes in Lomond and Clyde Pipe Band. Can always be guaranteed excellent banter and a massive hangover!

I play drum kit in yaG Backwards (see my bands for our page) which is a blast.

Combine the 2 instruments and my hand-eye coordination makes me quite good at Guitar Hero.

In my final semester of Accounts at Caley, earning money soon! I need it!!!!

If you want to know anything else, all you have to do is ask :)

I am Kiran, 29 years old and engaged to be married in April this year to a very supportive and loving guy who absolutely adores me :D hahaha..ok maybe this is supposed to be introduction and not go on bout my *guy* :p

Live in London. Work as an IT Consultant but a bit bored of it (more like sick and tired of seeing miserable faces on the tube every morning :p ) so planning to give in my notice on Friday and do something entirely different..like make soaps and creams *grin* Let's hope my fiance can support me while I go crazy with my career LOL!!

Been *big* all my life..managed to loose weight 3 years ago using Slimming World but put all that back on over the years. Now size 18 is tight and me getting married soon has prompted me to do something really drastic about my weight gain.

Going to Pakistan in March for 2 weeks for SHOPPING :bliss:
