Activity points - do you count?

Hi,

Just wondering if you guys input your activity to get activity points and if you do, do you use them?

I've still got 9 activity points + 16 weeklies left but I was wondering if people actually use their activity points?

I do count them cos I like to see them build up, makes me feel good, but I hardly ever use them. However the weeks I exercise more I seem to lose less weight so maybe you should eat some of them?
Xxx

I always work out my EP's as I also like to see them build up. If I do use them, I use no more than half so that I still get the benefit :)

I try not to use them, but I might start building them up and using them for 2 drinks on a Saturday night.

I like to count but don't usually them, don't tend to use my weeklys either only because I have more than enough with my dailys, as they decrease maybe I'll start using some ;)

Never ever ever! All that sweat and effort- no way would i waste it!!

I never use my activity points and hardly ever count them. It's mainly because I find exercise as more of a hobby then a way of losing weight. :)

I always count my activity points, and in the past ive eaten them, but recently I havent been eating them. But I am going to this week, see if theres any difference :)

Hay guys I would like to ask if I go the gym at like 7pm for and hour and aim activity points am I supposed to use them in the same day??? I'm nit sure how to use them :(

18 activity points??? Really? That's loads. I only manage to get a couple when I go to the gym. And you don't have to use them at all, it's up to you.

I would only use them if I was having a REALLY bad day and in dire need or something sweet, or junk. Mostly I don't want to waste all the hard effort!!

Does anyone know if not using activity points could be detrimental to your diet? I know from my HR monitor that I can burn upwards of 4000 kcals in a good week... so because it is a LOT of exercise I'm thinking that maybe at least some of it needs to be replenished?

18 points!! What, that seems excessive!! :/

An hour of boxersize is a standard class, it was hardcore like lol iv just flicked through the activities on my iPhone app and most of them are 7 points for 1 hour but there are about 5 that are 18 for an hour, rollerblading and ice sainting is 2 of them xx

Hi guys,

Sorry for digging this post out! I am pretty new on propoints, today is my third day. I was wondering, what is included in the activity points? Anything beyond just walking and normal day to day stuff?

I'm wondering as I'm very very active due to work (hospitality!!), and I am not sure whether this could go towards activity pts or not? Today for example I started at 8am catering for 70 people and also putting away deliveries which meant walking back and forth, heavy lifting and such. That went for 2 hours with only two 5 minute sit-down breaks. And that's not it yet - afterwards I had to clean/hoover 12 rooms with 70 beds, which meant a lot of up and down as I had to get sheetpacks for each bed as well! In addition - another delivery of freshly laundered sheets, and one bag usually weighs about 15-20kgs and they had to go upstairs (15 steps) as well... I have this situation two to three times a week, don't really need a gym!

What do you think? Sorry if it's a bit all over the place :)

Alright, thank you :)

It was just out of interest what would be considered as activity. I don't really plan to go over my daily points so much each week... Maybe going out with the girls as a treat every couple of weeks, but that's it I think. Otherwise I'd feel like I'm jinxing the losses! But then, that's only me! I've not even finished a whole week on propoints yet :)

x
