If I have been doing sole source for one week, then sole source plus for 3 weeks, should I go onto 810 plan for a week, well next week instead as will have been on sole source + for 4 weeks then??
do I have to add a meal regardless of plan after 4 weeks???

Bit confused, any advice appreciated, thanks for reading!

I don't think so - I thought that you only had to do add a meal week after 12 weeks SS in accordance with NICE guidelines on VLCDs. Perhaps a CDC can shed light on this.

Cambridge recommend that if you are doing SS, you go up to SS+ for a week about week 5, then go back down to SS.

The NICE guidelines state that you must go up to 810 for a week after a maximum of 12 weeks on either SS or SS+.

So, if you stick to all the guidelines it would be:
    Weeks 1-4: SS
    Week 5: SS+
    Weeks 6-9: SS
    Week 10:SS+
    Weeks 11+12: SS
    Week 13: 810
    etc etc

I am on SS+ and am choosing to do my 810week roughly every 7-8 weeks. But that's just personal choice.

    Hope this helps!
