Advice needed.

Hi all,


I have a birthday meal to go to next Saturday which is a close friend of mine so I don't want to not go because I can't eat.

It is a dreaded Indian which I love! But I know I can't eat what I would have Pre cambridge.

I will obviously not be having any poppadoms or starters. So am looking for as heathy option as possible for a main. I am vegetarian so that drops the calories straight away.

Does anyone have any advice on what sort of dish would be the best?

week one- 17 1/2 pounds week two- 4 1/2 lbs week three- no weigh in week four- 11 lbs week 5- 5 1/2 lbs week 6- 4 lbs week 7- 1 lb week 8- 10 lbs week 9- 4.5 lbs week 10- 3.5 lbs wk 11- 2 lbs wk12- 6.5 lbs wk 13- 2.5 lbs wk 14- 2.5 lbs
 
Chicken tikka (dry) is perfect, but not if you are veggie! I'm really not sure what your best option would be as a veggie at an Indian, hopefully someone else will have some idea!!!

Okay so I've had a look and was thinking tandoori king prawns which is roughly 200 cal with plain rice 111 cal and some salad if they do it.

Do you think that sounds okay?

I echo above, it there some sort of mixed veggies / salad you can have with it as rice will knock you out of ketosis! I hope you enjoy the birthday x
 
I would say either chicken or prawns, or a veggie dish. Try to enjoy and not beat yourself up about it! X

Think I've made my decision will try and have without the rice. But see how I'll feel on the night.

I should not have read this post, I have been craving a curry for weeks! Echo the above, just so you can get back in ketosis easier, however if you do have rice then don't beat yourself up about it. You have been on this plan for months and have done amazingly well so relax and enjoy yourself! I bet you can also fit into a lovely new slinky outfit by now and show off your new figure
 
Caz goodluck uknw if u hav to hav 2 portions of the prawns instead of rice.. Let us know how it goes.. Xxx
