Hi everyone. I am not very good at cooking lol so really need some advice wether this sounds ok or not.
I am making a stew sort of thing in the slow cooker and want it to be ready for about 6 or 7 when i get home from work later on today. This is what i have done: Put some steamed veg in microwave until it was softened and then put it in slow cooker, boiled some potatoes until they were half way done then put them into slow cooker, browned some casserole beef peices in frylight and then put them ontop in the slow cooker. And then made up a jug of beef oxo cubes with hot water then poured that on top.
Does this sound ok? And i have put it on high (about 1 oclock) would it be ok to change it to low at half 2 when i leave and would it be done for around half 6ish?
The veg wont go all mushy will it? Or the poatoes?
