Ok folks, started SW today (been there, done that with every other diet, but confident this is the one for me!)

Tried looking through all the blurb I was given, and cannot find any reference to alcohol and the number of SYNS it is!

In short, not that I am a heavy drinker lol, I get the food bit (well thats in the booklet), but need a bit of tempering with the alcohol!

I like a glass of wine, and am a gin lover! In terms of these 2 what can I have ...

Thanks in advance!

It is in the book, under Drinks - Alcoholic. pp. 44-45.

White/red wine are about 8.5 syns for 250ml
Rose 9 for 250ml
Sparkling 9.5 for 250ml
Gin is 4 for 35ml

If you want sweet/low-alcohol etc they're slightly different

Being a fellow gin lover, hence my user name, I use 2.5 syns for 25ml of gin, which is what is on a chart at my glass.
I also syn wine at 27 syns a bottle, thus 250 ml glass is 9 syns, and 125 ml glass is 4.5 syns ....cheers!:party0036:
