Ahhhh, thank you :eek: :)

I just got back from WI, and lost 0.5lbs. I know it's not great, but Im happy - for some reason I was expecting a gain - I had a good loss last week and I just have to remember that.

I nearly cried twice at WI - once, there's a 66 year old man there, his daughter in law just gave birth to twins, making him a grandad for the first time - and hes lost 5 stone - he said now he will live longer and will be there at their 21st birthday - and he can go to Disneyland now! And another lady, she's lost 2 stone in 12 weeks - her son's getting married on the weekend - she originally bought a size 20 outfit, then took it back to change for an 18, and now she's had to take it back to change it to a 16! Inspirational! :D

I think I'm going to jump on the fishy week bandwagon! Well, apart from tonight's dinner as I have lamb!

Week Six

Day 33 - Monday - Extra Easy - Syns 5 (5/10)

Snack:
Pink n White (2.5 syns) - someone won them in the raffle at SW and shared them out.

Lunch:
Jacket potato
Tuna
2 tbsp extra light mayo (1 syn)
sweetcorn
42g reduced fat cheddar (HexA)
big salad - lettuce, carrots and yellow peppers

Dinner:
Lamb burger http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/lamb-burgers-with-mint-yoghurt-and-a-feta-salad with mint yoghurt (amazingly delicious)
sweet potato wedges
sweetcorn
babycorn, tenderstem broccoli and carrots

Lunch:
1/2 bag of sweet and crunchy salad, to which I added:
cucumber & cherry tomatoes
a bit of tinned tuna
Peppered salmon fillet
2 Babybels (HexA)
Balsamic vinegar

Snack:
Banana & 2 apricots

Dinner:
Stir Fried veg: edamame, broccoli, red onion, chinese leaf, cabbage with
King Prawns
Noodles
Soy Sauce

2 Mikado ( 1 syn)
HiFi Bar (6 syns)

1/2 melon

Day 35 - Wednesday - Extra Easy - Syns 0 (12/30)

Breakfast:
2 Weetabix (HexB)
FF Onken Biopot Vanilla Yoghurt
Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Grapes

Lunch:
Peppered salmon fillet with peas and FF fromage frais mixed in with Wholewheat Pasta
42g low fat cheddar (HexA)
Left over stir fried veg & prawns on the side

Dinner:
Yummy prawn curry (included superfree passata & garlic)
Batchelors Mild Curry rice
broccoli, carrot and sweetcorn steamfresh bag

1/2 melon

Tomorrow's going to be a bit of a test for me - making batches of biscuits and rocky road for my son to give his teachers - no licking the spoon!

Then, in the afternoon I'm having six fillings :eek:! I've never had one before so no idea if it's going to affect anything like if I can chew for a while?!

6 fillings :eek: you'll be numb for a while and no hot drinks etc for a couple of hours after, it doesn't hurt though hun ( local's anes is great :) )

Day 36 - Thursday - Extra Easy - Syns 9 (21/40)

Breakfast:

Lunch:
Jacket potato
Tuna with 2 tbsp extra light mayo (1 syn)
42g low fat cheddar (HexA)
Side salad: lots of lettuce, bit of carrot, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar
Alpen Light (3 syns)

I made the stuff for the teachers and have to confess at tasting both - about a 50p sized biscuit (non-iced) and a 10p sized piece of rocky road, which was made with 70% choc, and had a bit of malteser inside. I'm thinking to syn them as 5 syns in total. Hope that's ok.

Dinner:
Crab, Tomato & Chilli Pasta - I used 2 tsp of Lurpack Lighter (serves 4) - so 1 syn
Tenderstem broccoli & carrots.
Mullerlight

MOUTH SO NUMB! I only ended up with one temporary filling - apparently I have hypersensitive dentine or something like that - where I can feel the pain in my nerves even though she's no where near it - so I had 5 injections! Going back next week for more torture and if they can't do it I have to be sedated! Had to eat on one side of my mouth, couldnt really taste dinner. OH said I had it all over my mouth haha

I'm quite proud of myself that I didn't scoff half the lot down my neck, which is what I usually would have done. Now I just need to hope the leftovers get eaten up quick by the rest of the household!

I had WI this morning and lost 2lbs. Im pleased with it, because it's a good loss - but disappointed because I did a fishy week and it didn't give me the boost it seems to be giving everyone else! I need to try and focus on the fact that I wouldn't be disappointed if I hadn't been doing the fish week.

It's my daughter's first birthday on Wednesday so Im not sure how I will fair this week!



Week Seven

passata, lean bacon, onions, orange pepper, garlic, chillies

1/2 melon - was intending on having just this but was starving after, so ended up with the usual

Then I had to try a mouthful of the birthday cake I made for Lexie for tomorrow - and it was gorgeous so had two more mouthfuls :eek: (guessing at 6 syns??)

Lunch:
3 Tuna and sweetcorn fritters from the EE cookbook
with the Salsa (YUCK - too minty, so picked at it)
Lettuce
Frozen Muller light

Dinner:
Joe's beef burger - yum!
SW chips

(I sprinkled the cheese over the burger and chips mmmm)

broccoli, carrots, sugar snaps

well done on the 2lbs loss. Looking at your stats, you haven't got much to lose until you are at target. So with that in mind 2lbs is a fab loss.

When I dieted before, as I got closer to target, the weight didnt come off quite as quickly as it did at the start of my diet.

You haven't gained since you started that is the main thing and you had 2 weeks where you lost 3lbs, which is brilliant.

Keep it up, it wont be long till you reach target.

Thank you! Well I had more of the cake today :eek: seeing as it's her birthday actually today.... God knows how many syns, it was about 1cm wide. Im not going to stress about it too much, just no more for the day and then on with tomorrow. Pleased that I didn't eat any of the biscuits and other rubbish Id put out for everyone else. Round 1 of guests has gone, round 2 to follow later
