Am I doing it right?

Hi All,
I've finally taken exercise seriously and started working out in a gym...

here is my diary

I do 40 min of cardio and some chest exercises 5 days a week...

10mins - treadmill brisk walk at 6.0(appx 50 kcal)
30 mins - cross trainer interval training level 1-4(appx 225 kcal)
50 reps of upper chest exercises (2 types) with 10kg weight settings.

Now, here are my questions:

1. Friends, do you think this is good enough?

2. I kind of can do a bit more...may be push myself to add in a 10 min cardio in the end..but will I be pushing myself too hard? I am not in a hurry to lose weight in a record time...my target is 2.5 to 3kg a month

3. Should I be adding more protien to my diet? I am a vegetarian...I eat egg sometimes --I dont particualrly like it though...

4. If I follow my current exercise schedule, will I be able to reach my weight loss target? (2.5-3kg a month)??? assuming I am eating sensibly. I am not touching any junk incl chocolates... I am eating healthy... my only indulgence is 1 cup of rice for dinner... I can get rid of this one too if required.

Appreciate your inputs and thoughts....
