Am I meant to be doing the meal this week or not?

I'm confused and so was my CDC...I started March 6th....if I count that as week 0 I am now on my 12th week, but if I count it as week 1 then I'm on my 13th week.So what week do we do the add a meal?Week 12 or 13?Or does it even matter?My CDC said it didn't make any difference if I did it this week or next...help!!!

Hopefully a CDC will be along to help you but it should be the 12th week from what Im told.Why doesnt your cdc know? thats odd. whatever you do, I wouldnt change in the middle of the week. Make sure you do it from week to week or WI to WI.

Yep I had WI this morning so if I'm going to do it I need to start today which is why I'm confused LOL
My CDC said she wouldn't force me to do the AAM week if I really didn't want to but it was a good idea as it would help get the metabolism going.But even she got confused as to which week I was in LOL.

TBH this week would be good because of it being half term and therefore having to cook more for the kids.Might be nice to actually eat some chicken and veg for a change.

Weigh in 1 counts as week 1, as you have been doing the diet for a week.
So weigh in 12 counts as week 12, as you have been doing it for 12 weeks.

Therefore, after your 12th weigh in, you should switch to 810 for a week. :) xx

However you work it out, surely it would be better to have it a week early than a week later. Its designed for your own good, to boost the metabolism, so I wouldn't worry as long as you don't skip it all together. Since you said you thought you'd quite like to do it this week whilst its half term, I'd go for it now. If the timing works for you, you're more likely to make the diet work for you too :) :)

Oh and well done with the weigh in results hun! Truly amazing

Thanks all-I'm going to do it this week as the kids are off for half term :) Ooh what shall I have today?I have turkey breasts in the fridge as well as salady stuff and some cabbage so probably that :D I'm a bit scared of eating this week but I realise it's got to happen.

It's the 13th week after 12 whole weeks of SS or SS+ing.

So, day 85 to 91 inclusive :)

My CDC says that I need to add a meal every 4 weeks. But I read lots of posts like Rose's where people arent' doing it until week 12.

Can anyone clarify??

Thats the old rules. They changed over a year ago.

We used to do SS for 4 weeks, then AAM on week 5. There is no AAM anymore. It's been replaced by SS+ and 810.

You can now SS or SS+ for 12 weeks (if BMI is over 25), but must then do 810 for a week
