I struggle to find nice shoes to go with the dresses though .

will have a look on play and start a new wish list, though I am starting to slide over to the steam punk side of fashion now and picking up bits of jewellery off ebay.

There's some beautiful stuff on Kate's clothing & the gothic shop - always worth a look for inspiration & then I look on eBay & amazon for best price! Shoes are usually my downfall too although I'm a doc martins girl so tend to be able to stick a pair of boots on with anything

I love those sites! I was after a pair of American nightmare iron fist shoes in red but no where in the uk has them and I wanted to try them on first.

That's lovely that! I'm like you - I'm a 16 at the minute and want to get into a size 12! I used to e a size 12 before my son was born 4 months ago but can't fit into any of my clothes!!

Love this thread. I don't have an inspirational outfit in mind - makes me think I need to find one!

I'm not allowing myself to buy any clothes until I fit into 'normal store' sizes (i.e. size 16 or under, am currently around a 20) so I guess that's inspiration in a way lose weight or wear these scrappy clothes forever! I did really well in Primark the other day, tried on some things, noticed some progress but put them away as I plan to be thinner by the time the weather is good enough to wear them!

Love how much everyone is enjoying this thread. Yesterday I went into Dorothy Perkins to just look at stuff as I dont want to buy anything until i get to a 14 bottom at least (unfortunately my bottom is resisting this!!!) but they have some lovely stuff and I cant wait to be able to wear it all
