Another diary another diet

    Hi everyone.
    I'm lisa. Im 34 and a stay at home mum to a 2 year old and a 5 year old. Oh and I'm a chocoholic.

    I have been calorie counting on and off for about a year now.
    i was about 5 pounds away from my goal weight but i put on so much over the last couple of months i am now 21 pounds away from my goal weight

    i am lacking motivation and just binge on chocolate all the time and then regret it and promise myself that the next day i will be super good only for it to happen again, that's why i thought i would start this diary and i'm hoping it will give me the motivation to stop eating junk and to keep within my calorie allowance.

    I'm thinking of trying to have my dinner later on at night so i don't snack in the evening. i am also thinking of having sugar free jelly as a snack and try and cut down on chocolate

    I know that calorie counting is the easiest and best diet for me. Sw is too restrictive.

    Hey Lisa -subscribing :) wish you lots of luck for this year! I know it's not ideal to have dinner late but I often prefer to have dinner a bit late as I'm less likely to snack afterwards x

    Hi cas thanks for subsribing. We are friends on mfp I think.

    Today I am working. I have 4 days left till I become a stay at home mum officially.

    Breakfast is weetabix

    Lunch I'm not sure yet

    Dinner is gammon with wedges and beans.

    Going to buy some sugar free jelly to snack on in the day and to limit my chocolate intake to one bar in the day rather than the evening.

    Current weight is 136. Goal weight is 121.
    28 weeks till holiday.

    Did you fall off the wagon into a big pile of chocolate bars?!?! Lol!!!

    Quit the sugar and the processed food. For me it has been the only thing that has put me back in control. No binges since August, which for me is incredible!!!

    I bet if you did clean eating for 6 weeks it would drop off you. Good luck!!! Xxx

    Thank you lindsay. yes it is the chocolates fault. strangely enough I had sort of started eating clean mainly so I don't binge or want sweet stuff. Will try and eat food as natural as poss within reason. I'm very much an all or nothing person which drives me crazy as when I fall off the wagon boy do I fall off!

    Well I'm still thesame weight. I lost nine pounds doing celebrity slim but put it back on after my holiday.
    Time to knuckle down.
    Am going to keep ny carbs below 100 if I can and up my calories to 1650. I'm going to only eat when I'm hungry and not binge on chocolate.
    Christmas is only 4 months away and I can easily get to target for then.

    Can you tell me exactly what "clean eating" is please ? I have heard it bandied about a lot but nobody ever says what it is. Is it eating "real" food instead of rubbish.

    It can mean different things to different people. The general concept is no processed food, therefore only buying food that has just one ingredient on the package.

    I make it cleaner by also cutting out any form of sugar and refined carbohydrate.

    If I wanted to make it even cleaner I could also cut out dairy, but I love cheese too much to take that step yet. If my weight loss slows that will be my next step.

    Hey I haven't posted in a little while not fallen off the wagon been maintaining for a while now.. Calorie counting worked really well for me and I still use myfitnesspal for maintenance ;) I also like chocolate but rarely touch it!! I will eat a chocolate and vanilla chupa chup lolly only 46 calories hits the spot for a chocolate fix lasts a fairly long time too till you crunch it anyway!! I still eat cake too I can't resist abit of cheesecake!! :p I go to the gym often which meens I can get away with the odd naughty slip!! :p I eat alot better than I used to and am still mostly good! Good luck anyway 121 pounds is easily doable ;)

    After umming and arring im starting next Tuesday. I can't diet whilst the kids are off school so next Tues it is. I'm now the heaviest ive been. :mad:

    Hey how you been hope your start of your diet hasn't been too stressful ;) are you logging with myfitnesspal? It makes it very easy to keep track of everything :)
