Any runners out there?! Please help!

Hi there, i need some help! I'm doing a half marathon on Sunday & have been doing SW during the past 6 months of training. Today I was told I shouldn't be dieting the week before a run & should be eating the same amount of calories as I'm burning (basal rate??) to store energy in my muscles. Has anyone done half/full marathons while doing SW and if so was it ok?!

I ran the london marathon in may and didnt really change the way i ate at all! Lots of healthy carbs but all counted. Just treated myself to a slap up meal afterwards!

I have done loads of half marathons and never altered from my SW way of eating SW isn't like other diets because if you are hungry you can eat. But you should trust your body, don't expect to lose weight necessarily lose weight this week because your body will hold on to water after the event and it can take a few days to settle down.
I have also done lots of marathons but never really stick to SW as there is not enough free food out there to keep me full once i go over 40 miles a week.
