Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Ah see I am generally a 6, very rarely a 5 but 5.5 kids trainers always fit me :)

As you say might as well make the most of your mums sounds like she has plenty ;-)

Good on you for getting out there and giving it a go - its definately something I want to aim for at somepoint as when I broke my ankle and saw people running I realised how silly it was that I can't run - I guess I've only really tried once or twice since I was a kid but it was hard and I gave up when I am sure if I continued I would have improved quite quickly as everyone seems to rave about the couch to 5k program. X

Haven't been around much, guests plus a few trips away and tbh not really had my head into SW at all. Miraculously went home to the UK and ate and drank a load of rubbish and still lost a 1lb and then the following week lost another 3.5 lbs so hit my initial target.

Honestly I have no clue what I'm doing at the mo, feel like I'm still not happy with myself so lowered my target to 8 and a half but just worried that's going to be a bugger to maintain.

Anyway I'm still keeping up with the thread when I can and happy to read about all your losses and well impressed by you girls doing all that exercising, I'm way too lazy :)
 
I always said I'd do it when I passed my driving test (the club is a drive away from where I live) but completely forgot, I don't know what made me think of it again recently but glad I did otherwise I would have missed this beginners thing.

well done on the losses messyeater, even if your not sure how it happened. You must be doing something right. If you want to try for 8 and a half go for it and if its too hard to maintain you can always up your target again.

Thinking of trying to start my own business selling cupcakes, going to make some tomorrow and try doing some funky decorations and then try a few different flavours as well, register as self employed and start off just with a facebook page and delivering locally, just to see how things go. If it works out and I start making a bit of money great if not then I haven't lost any money either.
 
I forgot how good yoga on a morning makes you feel. I'm very rusty though can't wait for yoga to start at work again on Friday.

Haha-if I could figure out how people managed to send cakes in the post without it all going wrong I'd send you some... although maybe that wouldn't be a good idea for keeping you on track. I actually feel a bit for my boyfriend as he is going to be my test subject along with my brother and anyone else I can get to try them.... he's so going to put weight on (although he ate two apple turnovers last night I'd rather he got fat from trying out my buns rather then off ASDA's back lol)


yay on the yoga front, I'd love to get doing yoga but I'm so inflexible its unbelievable. I did buy a DVD once but I didn't get very far with it, she just talked too much before getting into it so I lost patience.

Was hoping little one would lay in a bit more today as he is still only in school this afternoon but he was up at quartre to 8 (fair enough a bit of a lay in and actually a good time to get up, its just he's going to be so ratty in a few hours because he'll just want to go. Looking forward to having another go on the crosstrainer today. Then the baking will begin once little ones at school.

Ugh I hate starting work later prefer just falling out of bed and straight into work rather than having the time to laze about thinking about how much I don't want to go :p anyway suppose I should stop playing with my phone and go get ready, heading to cinema after work with my friend so at least got that to look forward to.

Lost 1lb this week putting me at 9st10! Just over a stone to go :). Feeling pretty good atm except that my face has swollen up like a balloon for no reason, so it looks like my face has gained 50lbs :/. Going to the doctors this morning to try and sort it out.

Hope everyone is gooooood :) x

Hey everyone. I am back bigger and more bloated than ever. Started self loathing and caught myself. Why when you feel at your worst do crave the food you know makes you feel worse? Not in the zone at all!!! Not sure of best approach either to be honest. Need a big shovel to get me out of this hole I am in
Thinking of biting bullet today and starting jillian Michaels six week six pack. Figuring that it will send me on right track and to be honest I know its the only thing that makes me feel so good. Little one is at nursery as I have funeral later so figure its prob best to bite bullet while I can!!
Donna that is a crazy set up for the kids isn't it? Ours, like Laura said, go in for full days from day one. I wouldn't be able to fit that schedule in to my working day. It's so unfair on little ones. Great news about the running club, good for you.

I know how you feel, you can't really do anything with your day if you start later as your constantly watching the time to make sure your not late.

well done on the loss, ooo doesn't sound nice, could be an allergic reaction, my face always swells when I have a reaction to anything.

Haha - I just hope I can make them look good enough to sell, I'm used to making cakes for friends and family but if selling they have to look perfect.

I know I'm really lucky that I don't work at the moment (didn't think I'd ever be saying that) but I have noone who could help with childcare as everyone I'd let look after him works as well. So I don't know what I'd do if I did have a job, plus there's two training days at the end of September as well!!!


Another 30 min on crosstrainer plus crunches and feeling great for it. Now trying to convince little one to have a bath before lunch so he's ready for school :/ but he doesn't seem interested. Not going as mad as he was yesterday though so hopefully he won't be too bad the rest of the week.

Been to the doctors, on antibiotics but they don't really know what's wrong with me. Although they did mention mumps.. But i have no fever or pain other than tenderness where it's swollen. Really hope it goes away soon because i'm going to have to go to work with a ridiculous face otherwise x
 
Help girls. So unfit. Tried to do six week six pack and have stopped after 20min. Found it so hard. Do you guys just keep at it every day til it gets easier? Disheartened. May try shred tonight to see how i get on with that.

Ok so Tried on pre baby, pre belly jeans and they fit!!! Thinking back to being 7,8,9 lb heavier I think I have did well gettin down to 8st 7.25lb. My past weeks of not eating well have basically led into bad mind frame. I now just need to retrain my brain and keep doing the work outs as best I can. My main gripe is my tummy. it looks like burst balloon or crepe paper for a better description. Having a baby stretched it beyond belief....can I really get rid of the pouch?
Going to wear my jeans around the house til its time to go out.
It's five weeks til I am 33 and I want to be 8st exactly....this is my goal ladies. Away to draw up a tick box for when I do a workout
 
Claire - I had the mumps it was the worst thing ever, you would know if you had that!!!!

Debs - I did the 6w6p once and it killed me!! I have done all of JMs DVDs and not found them particulary hard but that one absolutly killed me. Maybe I will dig it out :)

I need some ideas on exercise I can do with my shoulder. My usual DVDs are making it really hurt. My problem is that I cant lift it above my head and I cant hold my weight, I used to be able to plank but even that is too bad now :-(

Nikki - Whats the matter? Why do you feel a whale?
