Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Sounding good ladies.....I'm loving the positivity!
You know that once you get those first few days out the way with, its like riding a bike.....you never forget! And you never forget those WI days when you see the pounds oozing away!
I love theses challenges as they really get us all motivated again.....we can do it girls!
Ronnie & Deb, are you going to do yourself a little weekly table like I'm doing to keep track? Weirdly it helps, well it does me, as well as my daily food diary I keep on my laptop.....keeps me on the straight & narrow. That's when I started getting lazy & flippant when I stopped putting every moral down.

Off to sleep now as just done a night shift, so hope you all have a fab SW day! X

I am going to write everything down in my diary - i did a shop with SW in mind but when i was planning for my days i was trying to remain focused yet not obsessed. So i have meals in mind but i will admit that i did buy wine today. I wasnt going to but its my birthday on monday and iam not planning on take away tonight so thought i would have wine. I will also start my sys from today - shouldnt really since i weighed in yesterday but as today is my fresh start i have decided to use sat as my weigh in. I wont weigh in until 4 weeks today so it shouldnt make too much difference that i start my syns today.
I am so unhappy with myself just now that doing it this will is the way i see it helping me the most. Hope you get a good sleep

Glad to hear you're getting your mojo back Deb. Its such a horrid feeling when you feel unhappy with yourself, but.......'you can only help yourself'! I think sometimes 'you' have to reach 'rock bottom' to start that process & once you do, you will start to feel great within a few days.......you control the food, dont let it control you......great feeling! Dont know where I get all this s*** from, but its how I think about food now.....control! x

Im going to be a bit depleted in the food dept today, as just up after a night shift & not working tonight as off to a 'gig'....nephew is the drummer in a band. They're supporting the ex drummer from Oasis, excited to see him preform as its birthday today.....multi-talented boy, as he's the nephew that did the mammoth bike ride back in July with DH !
I digress.....food.....so all I will have is meatballs in bbq sauce with roasted veg....always the same after only doing 1 night shift....sleep during the day, get up, eat, go back to bed !

October is a busy month for birthdays, as we have 6 in our family/friends.....Annie today....HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE......Deb Monday ! Must have been the miserable January weather taking all the Mummys & Daddys to their beds LOL !

P.S Sorry about the bold typing, but everytime I post after my weekly challenge I cant rid of the bold ! x

Decided to go out for my run and found it really hard, the sun was out and it got really hot while I was running, plus I chose my route badly, downhill to start with which meant uphill to end. Glad I did it though.

My boyfriends in the kitchen making rocky road :/ I could kill him, another temptation I need to make sure I ignore, just what I need.... especially considering from Tuesday onwards I'm on 5 syns a day ready for the pizza and cake.

Finally sat down and worked out my challenge anyway

Week 1 loss =

Day 1 - EE 100%
Day 2 - Green 100%
Day 3 - Green 100%
Day 4 - Red 100%
Day 5 - Green

Yes Kim I feel like I am at that stage. Been pretty down lately with mood swings (mentioned on another thread) so hoping makin the right choices will be step in the right direction for me. Not sure if am just unhappy cos I feel so bad but not going to dwell on it.
Can't believe I didn't have take away. So proud of myself. Had green day and had baked potato and salad. Lovely!!
Only thing i feel weird about is not sitting down to stuff my face with crisp later...how bad is that? Got skips in but don't want to go down that route. Also my friend asked if she could take me out for lunch. Not going to let non sw choices ruin it but will try my best make best choices. Think am mourning my junk lol

Having a good night in with the boyfriend just watching a few films, I'm stuffed as well, eaten loads of fruit, possibly a bit too much but ahh well fruit won't harm me haha I hope. I'm feeling bigger now but I think its just in my head now I've decided I'm finding out what I do weigh on Tuesday, but its silly really as long as I haven't gained I'll be happy (although I'd prefer a bit of a loss haha)
 
CAn imagine with your effort Donna a little loss will be welcomed ;) I think your doing the right thing if it helps.
Am thinking I can get away with not having the cake as little one may be too focused on his own slice to notice whether I have eaten mine but is that fair on other half? He prob only got the cake to make an effort for little one who now understands birthdays but still ..... Anyway will play it by ear and I really don't want to get consumed to the point that things are off limits.
Today is my first 100% day and it feels good. Didn't have any junk food, had my wine but worked it out I still have 12 syns per day til sat which is great. Lunch tomorrow will again see how it goes. Friend is paying and don't want to be moaning about menu but again, It's life and if am good rest of week then its a step towards 8st x x
 
hopefully ill have a loss if not i just need to remind myself that i am doing loads more exercise then i used to and eating healthy so i dont have anything to get down about.

hat else are you eating ob your birthday? you could have a small slice and syn it if you wantes to be good...but obvioualy that depebds on if theres other thibgs you fancy. if your little ones anything like mine it will depend what mood hes in, back in march i bought him some toffee cupcakes as a treat (luckily i only showed him one as i thought id save the other for the next day) anyway he insisted that we shared it....which is why im glad i didnt tell him there were two as i might have ended up with a full one instead of half, i even tried cutting off less then half for me but he noticed and told me off lol

sounds like your doing great, dont worry about little things as long as they dont happen all the time sometimes life does get in the way but we have to enjoy it rather then dread it (yreah i know i need to take my own advice at times)
 
The cold has subsided. I'm left with a stuffy nose and head ache.

I think I may be able to have a slimming world day!

Its always difficult to take that first step Deb, but I promise you that once you get on the SW road, you will feel so much better about yourself. Its not easy the first few days, as Im sure that 'junk' food is like an addiction as the brain craves sugary foodstuff. Just take one day at a time & plan, which you know is the key & it will be so much easier in a few days. Try not to look on SW as a 'diet', but more of a healthy living plan for you & your family.
What meals do you like? Just make them SW friendly. I dont think I've come across anything that I cant convert to the SW way. If you need any help with meal choices please ask me, as food/cooking is one of my favourite hobbies x

How do you get the green tick up? and is there a cross for when I've been bad (only asking as I know I have my mums Birthday coming up lol)
 
Oh and I'm getting all appy on my phone as well. Found a new app for running with GPS so I can see how far and how fast I ran and post it to facebook if I want (hmm not too sure on that one lol) but its great as I never knew how far I was running before. Yesterday I nearly did 5k (I would have done if it hadn't been so hilly and hot)
Also finally got round to getting the slimming world app as well, there's not much on it, I think they could really update it for members by adding more recipes and healthy extra's but the syns bit is great for searching for syns and also you can add what syns and what day your doing, so think I'll start using that (as well as my notebook, but you never know eventually I might loose the notebook and stick with the app) just a shame you can't add meal plans and the healthy extra's you've had

Your right Kim. Woke up feeling good that I hadn't eaten anything after my dinner. Such a relief to be honest as lately I wake up thinking "eugh I ate loads". Feel bit bunged up today and have no inclination to eat. Going for lunch as I Feel the need to make the effort but....

Kim I bought a whole chicken for dinner, what's the best way to cook it? Before I have just seasoned it and small spray of fry light but a more interesting way would be welcomed x
 
Yes Donna I had a gps app on my phone which I found really motivational. Am not feeling up to jumping around to shred today but maybe a walk will do me good

Go onto the smiley face icon on the tool bar in the reply box, click on 'more' & its in the 'misc' section x
 
I'm going to go on the crosstrainer after my breakfast has settled a little, boyfriend is just doing work today and normally Sunday is my rest day but I won't have time to go on the crosstrainer on Tuesday so today will make up for it.
