Wow wee Annie, you look absolutely stunning. The black goes lovely with the red dress.Hope you have a lovely evening. X

Ladies...please NEVER try the cauliflower curry! Its disgusting and its a very good job that you make the sauce prior to putting any chicken in it.

Luckily it was only the cost of the cauliflower which was £1 as I had tinned tomatoes in so managed to cook a feast with them and the 2nd curry (and 2 hours later!) was a triumph!

Love the dress Annie! Looking good x

You look amazing!

Aww thank you so much ladies. Had a nice time, although it was very tricky as OH knew everyone and kept wondering off to chat so I felt like a bit of a melon at times! Only knew one other couple there and she had less personality than a brick. Know her OH well enough though (he's Adam's best mate) so at least I knew someone! I was introduced to so many people, I can't remember their names lol

I had an archers and lemonade, followed by a diet coke. Someone (a family friend I think) offered to buy me and Ads a drink and wouldn't accept that I only wanted a diet coke ("what do you want to lose weight for anyway? There's nothing of you"). In hindsight, I should have told him I was pregnant or something, as he wouldn't take no for an answer. In the end I asked for an amaretto and diet coke, but I didn't drink it lol.

There was a pick and mix stall that Adam helped himself to (a lot!), but I didn't have any.

Then at about 10pm, they brought out a hog roast with bread rolls, stuffing and crackling. I was considering having some pork with no fat and a wholemeal roll (I still had 2 HEAs and 1 HEB left) but I played it safe and made myself a ham and cucumber sandwich when I got home.

Now going to look up syns for lemonade - I dread to think! Unfortunately it wasn't diet lemonade :( but with the past couple of days that I have had, I know I won't have gone over on syns, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it!

Well done Annie, what willpower! :) :) How did you feel when you resisted? I'd definitely have had some of the hog roast though! Hehe :)

And like you said, I wouldn't worry about the lemonade - I'm sure there wasn't much of it and you'll have some weekly syns to account for those! X

It felt good - I knew I wasn't sabotaging something I'd worked so hard for!

OH kept offering to go and get me something, he even offered me some of his (he never shares food!), but I think he just wanted me to eat something (my appetite has been non existent over the past few days).

I think he's also realising that I'm serious about this now as he isn't so "gooooo onnnnnn" with things and even said to me "I'm sure he'll tell you how he cooked things if you need to know how many syns are in it", lol bless him.

When we got home, I even made him a SW packed lunch to take to work! I'm trying to make him realise that SW isn't a chore, that you can still eat AND lose weight!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there are only 3 syns in 250ml of lemonade, compared to coke's 7 syns for 330ml (that's why I was dreading it). I've accounted for 500ml lemonade at 6 syns, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was closer to 250ml.

Another red day for me today - I'm going to have a jacket potato as my HEB for lunch, followed by herby chicken with veg for dinner. I definitely feel less bloated doing red days!

Brilliant about OH, I think mine reached that point when we moved in together and he saw what I actually did eat rather than thinking I was denying myself. I've planned some red days for next week - would do one today but I want an EE fry up for brunch :)

Is the weather lovely where you are too? Gonna head to the pub this afternoon for an ice cold bottle of lager. I don't normally drink lager but when the sun is out, I really crave it! And it's lower in syns than wine lol.

What are everyone's plans for today? X

Well done Annie on being so restrained! Super proud of you :) hope you start to get your appetite back soon though.

Hope everyone is ok and had a lovely Saturday evening and remember to change their clocks!

So jealous Charlie of you going to the pub. Enjoy the larger! I also crave it when the subs out but can't even dink half a pint before I'm blown up like a balloon.

So today I'm hoping the sun comes out from behind the clouds as I'm going car shopping. I have a 2010 mini which I've had from new, but want something different! Not sure whether to down grade to a new ford ka or stick with mini and upgrade! Decisions!!

I've got a pork roast to cook so I might make it into a salad rather than a Sunday roast, especially if the weather is nice!

You lucky thing! I have a little 2001 punto (called Fifi!) that decides if and when it wants to start - but cant grumble as its working at the moment!

Probably won't make it to the pub as there are some Budweisers in the garage :) the roast pork sounds like a good idea - I was gonna do a roast chicken dinner but just gonna make chicken and SW chips. Might use Kim's pizza chicken recipe for my chicken :) xx

Morning girls.
Well done Annie on resisting the buffet, as thats hard to do, especially if there are lots of lovely nibbles!
I could resist the ameretto & coke to .....yuch! x
Lucky girl Charlie, its lovely here so I envy you the pub, but we had our stint on friday, so we're off for a bike ride today & then have some rump steak (half price in Morrisons) in peppercorn sauce that we should have had on friday! x
Dont envy you car shopping Nikki, its such too stressy for me! I had a Mazda RX8, I loved that car, but got rid of it as it was getting too expensive to run, but have an Toyota Aygo now & love it.....who woudnt at 60 miles to the gallon & £20 road tax per year! So good luck! Id have pork salad by the way x
