Ran 1.27 miles in 13 mins and 17 seconds this morning :)

Not sure how I'm going to get to 30 minutes! Going to have to build it up or split it over two sessions

Fantastic :) just build it up slowly and over a few weeks. Make sure you're comfortable with the pace you're at and don't be afraid to slow down so that you can run for longer.

All the plans sound very exciting :D Just popped in before gym for a jog, knew this place would inspire me to go. Just going to aim for 5k today. Usually like to do it under 30 mins but think I'll have a slow jog instead this morning :)

Thats good going, but my advice would be to go out for say 30 mins, but break it up by doing a 10 min jog, then a 2 min walk, then 10 min jog 2 min walk etc....you'll be surprised how much you can do! Dont forget its not a race, so slow your jog down....if you can talk & jog without being too much out of puff, you've got it :)

Im jealous, all you girls doing exercise this early......Im off to a mandatory study day, so will be in classroom all day! Having to force my porridge down as my tummy isnt used to being awake this time of the morning!

Ooh, what are you studying for, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks guys :) I ran the first 7-ish minutes and then alternated with 1 minute jogging and 1 minute walking. Could have gone a little bit longer but I got to a really big hill and there's no way I could have managed running all the way up! Hate living where there are so many hills! I was singing along with my music, so I think I have the pace roughly right :)

Hope your class goes well, Kim :)

Charlie, are you running after work today? Might try and fit another run in at lunchtime x

That sounds like a great running program. I often have to walk for a little while when I'm going uphill though I'm getting better the more I run. And yep, am going for a run after work! Though I have a Pilates class tonight so will be a very gently run. I love singing along as I run too :)

You ladies are making me feel guilty lol. I started running last year after I signed up for a half marathon but once it was over I gave it up. Really wish i hadn't now!

Oooooh, I'd love to do a half marathon! :) might sign up for race for life this year to gently ease me in.. lol

If the weather is nice this weekend (and not snowing lol, Charlie - what does your app say now?) I am going to try and go out for longer

It was a drunken bet lol. My friend and I signed up after a few bottles even though neither of us had run before. We had 5 months to train & we got there in the end! Honestly, if I can do it anyone can!

Cloudy sat (11 degrees) and rainy on sunday (7 degrees) :(

Bad times! I'm hoping that it'll get to the point where I'm out running come rain or shine!

Oh manual handling training, I don't envy you one bit! Just finished work - heading home for a run in the (almost) sun!

Disaster! 2lbs on :'(

I'm trying Green this week. Never done a Green day before, so I think getting my head back in the book will help. Haven't lost since my 7.5 loss, but I think I keep using that loss as an excuse.

I have a nine week plan and I aim to be at target by then :)

Don't forget what Kim posted before about changing you exercise routine and weight gain. Have you taken measurements - there may be a difference here even if there isn't on the scales! X

That is something to consider :)

I'll measure when I get home, although I'm almost certain that there won't be any change!

Need to lose 4lbs to get back to where I was x

Correct me if my maths are wrong & I can remember your losses/gains.....you lost 7.5, gained 1.5, gained 2....so thats a total of a 4lb loss in 3 weeks???? So, an average loss of 1.33lbs per week......sounds better doesnt it :)
Try not to get disheartened Annie as thats a great loss & you can get to target no probs by then. Good luck with Green eating x

I love you girls! Thank you for making me feel better x
