Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Oh dear! I'm yet to drag myself out of bed, but knowing you're already at the gym means that I'm now getting up :) x

I'm in with the measurements, I'll measure at some point today x

3 miles in 29 mins 11 seconds, but the way I was holding my phone meant that I didn't realise I had paused it for 2 mins and 3 seconds. So I don't know whether it was actually 27 mins 8 seconds :S

Either way, its the furthest I've ever run in one go, so I'm pleased with myself. I ran the first mile in 8:43 and alternated the rest with 1 minute jogging with 1 minute walking. App is saying I burnt 304 calories, just need to be determined not to find them again throughout the day!!

Well done hun! That's a fab time. Unfortunately when I got on the treadmill this morning my cold appears to have gone onto my chest and I looked right state coughing my guts up with and oh so attractive runny nose! So only managed 1.13 miles :-( it burnt 110 cals and then I went on to the striding machine and burnt a further 300 followed by lots of ab exercises!

Crikes it's not even 9am. I don't very often eat my exercise cals unless I'm going out to the pub and I drink them lol

Xxx

Well done you! If I was ill, I wouldn't have bothered lol

Is a striding machine a cross trainer? Haven't done any ab work, but I am going to go back to doing the 30 day shred once or twice a week :)

Consultant gave me a syn log this week, so I'm not going to go over!! Desperately need a good week on the scales x

What a fantastic way to start the day, well done hun :) I really wish I had time to run in the morning but at least doing it after work stops me from snacking and napping!

Eek, well done for having the motivation even though you're ill. I'd have to agree with Annie and say that I probably wouldn't have managed as much as you!

Hope your fresh start on Green days goes well today Annie, Im sure it will be a nice change from EE. Dont forget tho to still eat lots of superfree & enjoy the Hex's. One of my fave meals on Green is Risotto, so think Im going to have that soon :)

I've never tried red or green days - I've become way too comfortable on EE over the past year and I think I like it because it's something I'd be able to keep up without much thought when I hit target.

Do you notice a difference in losses on the different plans?

It's only because I stay at my Dad's house on WI night! It usually takes me 2 hours to get to work by train and bus, but my Dad lives a 5 minute drive away so I get a biggggg lay in! (I work for my Dad)

Usually I would run in the evenings if it's during the week or during the day on weekends. Thursdays are the only day I can run for so long in the mornings and I really have no excuse! If I'm travelling to work from home, I (sometimes) jog to the train station in the morning, but it only takes me just under 15 minutes (depending on how well I tackle the Big Hill! ;))

I've set my next 30 minute run for Saturday, I'm giving myself tomorrow to recover :) Going to try for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for now, building up the days as my running improves.

Thank you! I have had 2 slices of 400g wholemeal bread with half of the 30g pot of chocolate philly. I find it difficult to add superfree to breakfast, so I'll be snacking on fruit - does that count?

I tried the tomato and basil risotto a few weeks ago and it was a complete disaster - very dry and quite chewy. I think I need to add more stock to it and to keep an eye on the onions and garlic next time as they got burnt

Got a long list of Green meals that I want to try! x

I like the 'ease' of EE, but like the Hex's on the other two. Im quite lucky as in I like most foods, so I can swap between all 3.
I keep a food diary & did notice the week I did EE I put on a pound, but that doesn't mean it was down to EE, but could have been??? What Im going to do later is go through all the weeks & jot down what I did in each week & the loss/gain & see if there is any corelation between them.
Unfortunately, it may not give a true reflexion as Im all over the place & dont think I can blame it on the plans.....the big loss I had was hormonal!!!
SW works & its got to fit in with our lifestyles or we will never stick to it, some of us are just a little bit slower than others. We could blame all sorts.....age, hormones, exercise ets, but as long as we are true to ourselves & following the plan as 100% as possible, it will work :)

Sounds a good plan for the running regime, well done
Breakfast sounds good, you could try some yoghurt & berries or porridge & banana & snacking on fruit is the way forward!
Glad to help out if you need any ideas as I love cooking & DH is/was a chef & he loves my Risotto.
Top tip ref the WM bread....I buy a 800g loaf & Syn if it goes over the 60g, its a bit more substantial than the 400g loaf!
What do you do for a living Annie, as it must be great working for your Dad :)

Feeling awfully sorry for myself today :-( all poorly and wish I was at home and not sat at work.

I've had a bowl of pineapple and a fibre plus bar for brekkie. Bit concerned how bloated I feel :-( managed to not step on the scales this morning and as I'm a serial daily weigher that's rather good for me.

So hungry :-(

Xx

I might have to take you up on your ideas for recipes, I got a bit stuck in a rut for a while and don't want it to happen again!

I'm just a secretary, but this is just temporary until I can get back into childcare and start my degree so I can work on the children's ward. I'll be working with sick children and helping them cope with procedures through play.

Chef Kimbo here to help!
What a brilliant vocation, rather you than me tho! Dont get me wrong, I love children, but Im at the other end of it looking after them on ITU!

You need to eat more Nikki, especially with exercising, so no wander you're hungry! How about having porridge for brekkies as it a slow release carb & will help fill you up longer.
DO NOT WEIGH DAILY....HIDE THE SCALES!!!

Feeling sorry for myself too. I'm also a serial weigher & discovered I've put on 3 lbs! So not fair as I've been so good :(

Wasn't your WI last night Parf? What are you doing on the scales again so soon?
Our bodies fluctuate throughout the day/week, so IS NOT a true reflection of your weight...HIDE THE SCALES!

I was going to say to you guys to be prepared for the lecture of daily weighing from Kim, but it looks like she's beaten me to it.... (!)

Day 3 of not weighing myself and I have to admit that it feels good to wake up without my weight being the first thing I think about! Means I'm a little more anxious for Saturday morning weigh in, but I've been very good and feeling a little more toned so should be on track!
