Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Haha, I bet with your healthy cooking he'll lose his 'tummy'! LOL about the sausages, men!!!
About the 6th, its always difficult when we're out of our comfort zone at home, so the only thing you can do is try & make as many healthy choices as you can, or......have an off plan weekend & enjoy with no pressure! Its 2 weeks away yet, so you'll have lost quite a few pounds by then, but try not to let it get to you (easier said than done I know) & go & enjoy x

Thing is, I can't keep an off plan day to an off plan 'day' - it usually turns into an off plan week!

Right, I really must stop chatting on here & get my act together as have to take Charlie out & then have physio this afternoon....its gonna hurt!!! x

Hope your physio goes ok x

weekly weight in last night and another pound gone! Yippee, this week I had all my syns and slightly more and lost more this week than last. I wonder though if there is a week delay, like the previous week i was extremely good and only lost a half, where as this week was just a normal if not slightly naughty week and lost more! Ummm any thoughts on this?

I loose more if I use all my syns than if I barely loose any at all.

Question is, does he need to lose weight? Lol. My OH is underweight if anything so desperately try and give him bigger portions and stuff him with chocs! Excited to see the pix! I have bought some faux leather leggings from eBay that I really want to wear for lunch on sat - but it's a bit daring so will have to see! That's if they arrive on time!

My OH is underweight too. I try give him extra things with his tea, like more bread. And buy him lots of treats to keep him bigger. When I first started he lost a stone so we had to work hard to get his weight back up!

I reckon my OH would only need to lose a few lbs to get to healthy weight, but he's said before that he'd like to lose a stone. That should put him right in the middle of his healthy range. I think that once we're officially moved in and can settle into a consistent routine, his weight will fall off as he's quite active at work x

My mum worries that I'm going to make dan lose weight! The amount of cr*p he eats during the day - there is no need to worry lol. I'm not tempted by his naughty cupboard either!

What is it about our men folk, they can eat what they want! Saying that Dug needs to train with runnung/cycling to keep his weight in check as he is an amazing eater. When he hurt his knee & couldnt run he put on 2 stone.....its all gone now as he cycles for at least 2 hours everyday! x

Had a bit of a funny moment at work today - the kids were learning about the Easter story and the word 'sin' was everywhere... I kept thinking that it was spelt wrong and should be 'syn' haha! That's how you know you've been doing SW for a long time!

id love to be 9 stone but last time i was nine stone i looked like skeletor lol but good look girls, its really hard getting below 9.5stone =[

Sadly not a teacher, at the moment I'm a Learning Support Assistant at a special needs school - the kids I work with are in post 16 (16-19) but the school ranges from 3-19. I'm working there full time for two years before I can apply to go back to uni for 3 years to study for a Doctorate in Educational Psychology.

I really really really love working there, the kids always put a smile on my face and I will be so sad to leave!

Wow, that must be very rewarding. How come you have to do that job before going back to uni? Did you do a degree before & when you do your other one, what sort of job do you want to do with it?
Sorry, being nosey, sounds very interesting x

It is very rewarding, I'm so lucky to have a job that I enjoy doing. The doctorate degree is very competitive and because it's professional training, to apply I have to have 2 years full time school experience. I already have a degree in psychology, and the doctorate will allow me to work within schools, the local authority and the youth justice system with children that have emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties. I can't wait to be Dr Charlie, though it's going to be a long, hard journey! x

Well good for you Charlie, sounds fantastic & I can imagine the 'world will be your oyster' with that sort of qualification. Yes, Im sure it will be a long hard slog, but well worth it in the end & more importantly a job you love.
If I had my time again I would have loved to have done forensic psychology x

I was really interested in forensic psychology when I was younger, especially criminal psychology. I did a module on forensics at uni and it was really interesting but children and education is where my heart lies!

Also, I've decided to scrap the pasta with dinner - 35g is measly and I've cooked so much roasted veg I don't need it! Now just deciding what to have as my second HEB - I've had porridge this morning.

Problem solved - just having 2 x Ryvita with a laughing cow triangle as I'm starving and dinner will be a while yet! Very low on carbs today! X

Hey ladies... drum roll please - I can OFFICIALLY JOIN YOU!! I somehow managed to lose 2lbs even though my scales this morning were not moving at all (I am now convinced they are broken).... :) :)

Some kid asked me if I was pregnant today :-(

ahh thank you! think i was super motivated to get into this group :)

I've been reading about your running - I've done a couple of marathons but didnt used to do any and when I first started I bought this book called the runners guide running - I think its amazing - I still read it now - has fab tips and covers everything from stretches to weights and also diet etc. Might be worth buying although seems like you're getting loads of advice on here :)
