Welcome and well done on making it into the 9's, 2.5lb is a great loss - in sure you'll make your 2 stone this week :)

Thankyou for the welcomes :) I've been reading far back cos I find all your posts really inspiring. I'm having a good week so far so hopefully will bag myself my 2st award.
Someone suggested that salt could be the reason for a gain..its soooo true...last saturday morning I got on the scales (im naughty and can't resist my own scales inbetween group lol) and I was 9st10.5 then for tea that night I made sw chips and doused them in salt and vinegar...got on my scales Sunday morning and was horrified to see 10 stone!! I drunk loads of water during that day then by Monday morning the weight had gone again so was obviously massive water retention caused by excessive salt. Whoops! Soooo glad I didn't make that boob the day before weigh in!

I think today will be off plan..... BBQ tonight with my sister and her friend and they want everything!!! I've been looking forward to tonight for such a long time, I'm thinking if I follow today with 2 none syns days I may get a nice little loss Saturday. Going I make some soup to speed it up!
 
Just popping in to say hi.... I've got cottage pie with bns mash topping for tea. Bad choccie cravings today - even though it's wi tomorrow! Just had a twirl - really need to resist going completely off plan as I'm within syns at the moment

I planned to do salmon burgers but I'm at work till 6 then my girls swim at 7 so no time for preparing a new dish, I've overdosed on pasta in the build up to my run, might do something with rice in might just have a veg rice mix up ??
Our BBQ would probably fall to bits if I was to move it ha ha my other half can't be bothered with them, and I ain't cleaning it ;-)

You can easily make a bbq SW friendly by having homemade burgers, chicken or prawns kebabs, veggie kebabs, low fat sausages, steak, salmon, low fat potato salad, coleslaw, tabullah & salad. There's no problem I think in going off plan for a day but if you can do SW food why not?! X

I have my homemade burgers and low fat sausages and salad it's just the pizza and wine which may be a problem lol x

Bananas on the bbq serve with coconut mullerlight and honey. AMAZING
 
Annie - I totally understand your nerves, I can barely sleep Friday nights before my Saturday weigh in and I wake up on sat really early! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you but it seems your been super good this week so a loss should be on the cards! Xx

You guys might remember that I was supposed to be making a toad in the hole last week after WI (for the new guys, I stay at my Dad's house on WI night and me and my stepmum, who I go to SW with, take it in turns to cook a SW meal for the family), but she wanted to cook the pork ragu bolognaise thing instead (even though it was my night) and so I was going to make the toad in the hole this week. Only now Dad is saying that stepmum suggested getting a takeaway tonight and I'm really annoyed - I REALLY WANT TO COOK MY TOAD IN THE HOLE! I don't want to waste a load of syns before the week has even begun, so if she's truly insistent about getting a takeaway, then I want boiled rice. If I use my syns, it's because I choose to, not because someone else wants to use them for me. Rant over!
 
I want to weigh in NOW, still have ages to wait :sigh: also my housemate is going out tonight so i'm going alone again. Feels weird to go alone, i didn't stay for the whole last week because i was on my lonesome (also because of the sheer amount of uni work i have to do.. )

Oh that sucks.. My family is a lot lke that. Just have whatever you want to have, if they complain that you're only having rice just remind them that it's your choice how to control your food. If you don't want to use syns on an impromptu takeaway than that's up to you =). Crack on!

Pizza with bbq??? Wines not a problem ts 1 of your 5 a day & only grape juice lol!!! Have spritzers, wine & soda is my fave x

What is your stepmum doing wanting a takeaway for if she's on SW?
Why not make the toad in the hole anyway & you can have it & then leftovers tomorrow. Don't be sabotaged as your doing so well. Thinking of you at WI tonight...good luck x

I agree just make it anyway and take the leftovers for dinner. I love toad in the hole yumyum

Ooo I totally agree on the 1 of my 5 a day and I'm currently in love with soda and NAS lime so may have a vodka or wine spritzer sounds good.

My sister friend is pregnant so she wants weird stuff lol
