Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

The prawn crackers aren't too bad. I fill a cereal bowl and it works out about 5 syns!! Bargain!!

Seriously?! I'm going to assume that doesn't include prawn crackers from the takeaway? I could eat those things all night long!!

I stock up on velvet crunch when I go to pound land as they are quite a bit cheaper there :) x

They do sweet chilli, salt&vinegar and cheese&onion. Tried sweet chilli today very nice :) and being star shaped makes them much better than regular walkers baked ;-) x

Hehe, is that the same principle as triangle sandwiches tasting better than square ones?

Give it a try and see if it works for you at home, I've never been to a group and a few others here do it from home too :) as you say get all the support here that you need might as well save the time and money if it works for you!

On a random note has anyone tried the new walkers baked stars crisps? Just had my first packet so yummy and only 5syns. £1 for a multipack in Asda or tesco at the moment :) x

I just bought some from tesco. My oh had a bag when I got home n said they're really nice x

Just weighed myself on my friends scales... apparently I've put on 3.5lbs... I'm 10st 1 again. Feel like a total failure

Oh love, it's not a complete disaster - I'd be over the moon with that kind of gain this week, I'm expecting at least 5 or 6! But I know that when I completely stick to it 100%, I can have some amazing losses, and I'm sure you can too :) Also, the result may not be a true reflection (different scales/different day/different time etc) When is your official WI day? Want to do a mini-challenge together for the week?

xoxo

PS: Be prepared for Kim's "midweek weighing" speech lol ;)

Your friends scales are wrong!!
Even though I do this myself I will tell you never ever ever weigh on different scales. Or at different times of the day. Or on a different day. Or wearing different clothes. It all factors to make things different!

My usual WI is tomorrow night. I know I shouldn't pay much attention to it, but with how bad my week has gone I won't be surprised if it's the same or worse if I weighed in at group tomorrow. It's my own fault.. I know I deserve it for my terrible week of following SW but just stresses me out with all the stress I have pent up already.

Need a breeeeak. Mini challenge may be a plan x

I was dabbling with the idea of not going to group, but I realised that I need to see that number on the scales to learn from it and make me realise that I need to draw a line under it and move on. Otherwise I'll be sitting there wondering "what if it wasn't as bad as I thought? What if not going has made me lose focus? I wonder what that number could have been" etc etc.

We're getting so close to target now, that anything is able to throw us off track, whether it's a couple of days off plan, water retention or just plain old hormones! We'll get there though - this is a long term thing, not a quick fix. It took 21 years to get to the size I was and I know that it's not going to come off overnight. It's been an on/off journey spanning 3 years now and I am frigging determined to get to target this time! If you look at the bigger picture, I bet your achievements are amazing - what harm is one bad week of that journey really going to do? Nothing in the long run. When you're at target, you won't care about "that" one week where you gained x number of lbs.

I also weigh tomorrow night, so how do you feel about a challenge to lose what we've put on + 1lb? :) I don't envy your workload at the moment, I hope things start easing up for you soon. You'll probably find it easier to stick to plan once it's all done xoxo

I was just sat at work and had a brainwave!! I got my new book which has never had any weights entered into it, photocopied the pages on just the WI page and have stapled it to the inside of my diary.... This is from the 14th march when I WI and had gained my 3lb. Helps me to see it written down, especially when doing it at home.

Then every Saturday I'm going to WI and put my £5 in a jar and enter my weight myself on my new form!

Definitely sounds like a challenge! Let's give it a go =). It should start easing up soon and hopefully that'll get rid of my crazy chocolate craving, an old habit I need to kick really. Here's to a 100% week! x

Yay! Do you follow Red, Green or Extra Easy?

Chocolate is a big deal for me too, I've found that bringing a funsize treat helps, but having the funsize bag here (so that I am prepared at work) is not helpful, as I reach for it in times of stress! Won't tell you how many minature packets of Buttons I've eaten this week! Haha

Do you have a food diary? x

Good idea :) I find it helps to see it written down, esp when I have my old weights and measurements to compare to!

I so so so wish I was disciplined enough to do it from home on my own! I'd save so much money, but I cheat myself cause I know it's only me that has to see the scales, so I pretend that extra 7 packets of crisps won't count! Haha x

Haha I know what you mean. I think I'll start taking a photo of the scales so you can all see me weight on a Saturday morning then I can't cheat EVER! Lol

Actually, that's not a bad idea! Definitely worth considering AND I could then weigh in on a Saturday morning with you girls and not feel hungry all day! Typically, I bought a 6 week countdown 2 weeks ago (lol), so I'll have to go for another 3 weeks after tomorrow.

I'm thinking the same but I don't wanna leave group! The only thing is I really do think he scales are mental. my boss who goes lost,1.5 this week n has been out all weekend yet I have been perfect n only lost the 2.5lbs she said I gained last week!

You can always see how you go over the next 3 weeks and then decide hun. Would be good to be weighing around the sound time though.... Saturday mornings would be full of suspense lol!

I was following Extra Easy but now i generally mix between green and have extra easy days. Haha telling me might make me feel better about my own chocolate binges =P.

I have a food diary, very new and sporadic with work at the moment but its there haha. On my phone at the moment so will post link soon x

Claire, Im not going to say it but....******$$$$$***&&&"""""""""""!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said it in my head so I dont sound sooooo anal about weighing mid week, let alone on a different pair of scales!!! Bad girl, naughty girl.....cant help myself, its a bit like Tourettes it keeps coming out of my mouth & I cant stop lol! x

Half the housework done, downstairs all clean & tidy, upstairs will have to wait til Thursday as Im out with the girls for lunch tomorrow! Off for cycle ride now, so quite good body magic today! x

The scales are funny! My weight has been so up and down (although overall, still a loss), yet my Stepmum who is more or less consistent every week only loses a pound a week. Last week, all of a sudden she lost 4lbs!

I would definitely miss my consultant, she puts SO much effort into her groups. Tbh, I've only been going since the beginning of February, so although I'm chatty with a couple of people, I wouldn't necessarily miss them. There's not really anyone my age that goes, I sit with my Stepmum every week. The only young girl that does go arrives halfway through (I assume she comes straight from work) but seems so stuck up, I wouldn't dare speak to her! She's definitely got the "skinny b...h" attitude..

BUT my consultant is invaluable. She's funny and enthusiastic (that definitely helps), so I don't really know what to do..

Can you not finish these last 3 weeks of Countdown & then have a 2 week holiday break & see how you get on at home with WI. If you dont get on with it, you could always go back to class? x
