Morning!
I've woken up at silly o'clock, so having a quick catch up on here.
The cannelloni was wonderful! I was completely stuffed after eating it!!
I got the recipe from '50 free green recipes'. Happy to share if anyone is interested.

Looks as though you were all busy yesterday!! I didn't eat any chocolate although I did have 3 large glasses of wine :-(. Must try harder!!!

I'm having another green day today with roasted vegetable couscous. Then off to the theatre to watch Dirty Dancing with my mum - apparently it is amazing, so very excited! X

I think I've got the recipe from a couple of mags ago, definitely going to give it a go soon!

Went out into town last night and even at 22 we felt old! I drove as didn't feel like drinking and was glad for it when I woke up feeling fresh as a daisy. I did feel really good in my lace dress though - forgot to take any pictures!

I've heard some fantastic things about DD at the theatre :) hope you have an amazing time! X

You've given me the idea to cook my version of Cannelloni now Shellie, so thats on the menu for tomorrow.
Dirty Dancing is one of my all time favourite films & I love Patrick Swayze, so soad when he died. Would love to see the stage show. Is it at the Mayflower or up in London? let us know what its like x

If you felt old at 22, how would some of us feel here.....positively grandmotherly lol!!! x

Feel horrible today! My neck has been playing me up the last couple of days & back to taking the morphine! Hate taking it, but needs must. Well & truely fed up & cant wait for this blinkin MRI.....mind you they scare me to death & this will be my 5th one! If any of you have had one you will know what I mean, so claustrophobic & you really have to squeeze your eyes tight shut & take yourself off somewhere nice in your mind. Or is that extruciating because they put headphones on you & play Radio 2 with Terry Wogan LOL!!!!! x

I would be most terrified of the Terry Wogan part, can't stand his voice! I hope the painkillers kick in soon for you, will you have to wait long for your MRI?

We're still in bed, had a bacon sarnie :) Can't bring myself to get up, though we are having a trip to decathlon this afto to buy inner tubes for the bikes :) xx

MRI is on the 26th, so not too long to wait & have an OPA to see the Consultant one day after my birthday in early May, so lets hope its good news! I have my suspicions another disc is being naughty, so it will be my 3rd surgery in 2 years, my poor neck is starting to look like a road map!
Ooh, I wander if you will get hooked on cycling...are they mountain or road bikes? x

So sorry that you are feeling so bad. I've never had a MRI, but can imagine that it's not the easiest of experiences. Will you have to wait long to get your results?
We're off to the mayflower. It's running here until the end of April.

Charlie, fancy feeling old at your age!! I'm with Kim, I must be nearing grandmother age :-D!

I can't seem to summon any energy. Think I woke up far too early. My legs are incredibly sore. Think I've overdone the speed walking. Rest day for me! X

It was a horrible feeling, but even my sister and her friends were out and they're not 18 yet! Everyone was younger than us and it wasn't much fun but it got me out of my PJs for a boogie! Xx

Thanks Shellie. Im surprised Im not a fruit loop by now, but weirdly following SW & the support from you lovely chicks on here keep me sane as I can focus on something positive & my DH is wonderful. Some of the things he's had to do for me, when things get a bit desperate & I cant move very well would make you giggle......I'll let you use your imagination lol! Hopefully, I'll get the results early May when I see the Consultant.
Ooh, might see if I can get some tickets. Do you know who's playing the 2 lead roles? "Nobody puts baby in a corner".....love it!
Speed walking is a great exercise, I did loads when i was training for the Moonwalk.....aren't you doing something soon Shellie? x

Morning girlies :)

Hope your ok Kim and not in too much pain? :( got my fingers crossed for you MRI and results. Just having a calm day today then?

Charlie I totally know what you mean about feeling old going out, I hate it! Too many under agers get away with it now.

Ooo Shellie have a fab time tonight at Dirty Dancing! I'm taking my mum and nan to London on the 22nd to see Wizard of Oz soooooo excited!!

Need to get back on the SW track today, dont feel great and know I must be about 3lb heavier from my super weekend!

I've just looked at the Mayflower website and it doesn't give cast information. Will let you know tomorrow!
That's really tough. It's awful when you need to rely on someone for support. When I injured my knee, I had 6 weeks of not being able to walk - that was so frustrating and limiting.
Its great that you get the support here! It is invaluable.
I'm thinking of doing the Moonwalk next year. The only thing that worries me is the walking at night business. I'm useless at staying up!! Tend to be an early riser, so 10pm is really late for me!! I would say that I'm getting old, but I've always been the same! X

Charlie-I see what you mean!! Hope you enjoyed the dancing then? X

I did, but the music was all really new stuff and I'm terrible at keeping up with the charts! I have just found a pic of me in the dress, will attempt to lighten it up a bit and then post and outfit of the night pic :)

Girls, if any of you like salmon DH had just come back from Tesco & they're selling off whole sides of salmon reduced from £14.80/kg down to £4.80/kg. It cost him £6 & its going to do for tonights dinner of Risotto with a piece of grilled salmon, tomorrows of salmon & salad & wednesdays of salmon fishcakes! x

I am insanely jealous of your menu this week! I adore salmon but OH doesn't like fish :( I might have a fish feast while he lives on pizza? Haha x

I'm really in the mood for mushroom risotto today, so when OH gets home think i'll start cooking it up as lunch rather than dinner and then may make a soup later....hmm wonder what left overs I have for a scrummy soup.

Well if you get off to Tesco, I hope they have the deal there as well. Just give him pizza every night & you cook yourself up some lovely healthy salmon x

Mmmmm, lovely risitto all round today then! Thats how I tend to do my soups, just whatevers left in the fridge & cook it up x

Nikki I saw you posted on Sivermaneuks thread as well....very courageous lady to put that video up with her thoughts. Girls pop over & have a listen x
