Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Hey everyone hope you are all having a nice week?

Good luck with your graduation today midnight princess - I'll have to check if new look deliver to Oz! If not I'll be home in September I can get my sister to pick me up one!!

Nikki your leader sounds fab! When I used to go to classes in Ireland (lost 2.5 stone) the girl was just fab, she left to become an area manager and I just didn't warm to the other girls. I'd love to find her again doing a class! Plus you'll drop that weight in a week, you always have a big loss when you get into the 'zone'

Feel like I'm in the zone now.I'm doing red days and find it way better for me. I'm having porridge in the mornings, protein and salad for lunch with pitta then a big no carb dinner. Tonight I had chicken stew in the slow cooker. After 2 days my stomach already feels flatter. I don't think I was eating enough during the day then my the time I got home I was famished and eating a man sized portion of dinner, fruit and yogurt. Looking forward to my weigh in!

I might try this Mrs.Angel. I was doing red days then went back onto EE but maybe no carbs at night will help :)
 
Rain did not hold off, but we did manage to get a few piccys in the small spells of sun. For example...

Looking for some words of encouragement here... i can feel myself about to eat many things i shouldn't :(... struggling today x

Me too...feels like am not eating enough and want to eat rubbish. I have syns but going to resist. Have a drink, am having coffee. You could have hot chocolate and some free food or fruit? Have you used your healthy extras? Think how well you have been doing and how good it feels. Don't let yourself wake up to that sinking feeling when you remember you have binged. If you have syns then of course have something. You can do it!!

As for the rest of you! Just remember how far you've already come and why you want to either maintain or loose more weight! Yes bad things are very nice, but are they really worth the way they make us feel after eating too many of them? Or if your really really struggling maybe have a blow out to get it out of your system.


Just back from WI and lost a 1lb this week, so 8 stone 13 :) I'm happy with that, going to try and loose another lb this week. But will be happy if I maintain as well, as part of me is expecting pizza hut to sneak back up on me.

well, i'm holding on... just!! had a cadbury fudge!

I think this is all down to the fact that on my daily weigh in (bad me) i was up 1.5lbs and i'm thinking that i'm bound to gain this week given the introduction to the gym again!!! It's such hard work sometimes.

Well done on the loss this week donna, brilliant... in the 8's, i'm well jel ;)... must#ve been the pizza hut treat that done the trick x
 
Do you know something that really baffles me....especially after being back at group yesterday... people that say they follow the plan 100% yet they dont have there 1/3 superfree with every meal or they go and eat there meal and then eat the superfree!! The superfree is there to make you not eat so many calorie dense free foods!! Aghhh its one thing that gets to me!!

Just was reading and then listening to people in group last night and there are so many people that dont follow the plan like it is made to be followed. Also, someone asked about doing red & green days and having 1/3 superfree and its there in black and white in the food optimising book that yes on all plans your meant to have the 1/3 superfree.

Rant over sorry!
 
hmm, that's interesting.. i didn't realise you were meant to have 1/3rd superfree when on red or green days which means that technically i've been off plan when i've been doing my red days. I thought superfree was just part of the EE stuff but you live and learn and certainly something i'll keep in mind when my weight plateau's

Ok, so today was a red day (without the 1/3rd superfree lol) 2HEA, 2HEB 15syns.
 
i love my superfree, i feel guilty if i dont have it even on red and green! i dont see why people skip it!

just had one of my mums buns, ive synned it using the book and average syns of a bun-although she uses light marg in her baking so im guessing it will be slightly lower then what ive counted.
 
adding the superfree is a bit of a hassle for me right now... going through a lazy, can't be 4rsed phase lol x

Just been looking at some pictures from my cruise in feb and my gosh I'm super slim!! Going for target of 9st now. I know I know I set target last week but I'm thoroughly miserable and through no fault but my own!

I don't have super free with every meal as it wouldn't stop me eating what I am making. If I made chicken pasta for example I wouldn't eat less just because I had third superfree on my plate, I would still eat the amount I cooked. Am not the worlds biggest vegetable eater so lately I have been making an effort to Have fruit for breakfast and fruit for mid morning snack. I know its not the plan but It's the only way I can do it. If do get the logic behind it and maybe its why I don't lose weight but yesterday for example I had pitta bread with bacon and fry light egg and I would have been having superfree just for sake of it...it wouldn't have stopped me eating the pitta. I just try to Have smaller portions. I try have salad for lunch but it makes me hungry come 3pm.
 
i have to admit i dont think my superfree stops me eating anymore of the other food. i eat whats on my plate! but i do enjoy it ao might as well have it!

Yeah definately!! I have fruit in morn and if am not having salad for lunch I will add spring onions, a cucumber and tomato to my cous cous for example. Or spag ball I will add loads veg.

Every time I aim for 100% week I find my self obsessing over food...even the free food. Hungry and found myself obsessing over a small slice of toast, even tho I have syns. Why is this? It's the reason I end up going off track as the over thinking throws me. Does this happen to anyone else?

This has been me since march :-( my OH was getting upset at my obsession so I just kind of gave up. I ate what I want when I wanted and now I'm 1 stone heavier in less than 6 months. I think I've learnt my lesson.
