hey ladies. hope you are all good!! gorgeous pup donna.
i will weigh tomorrow and like you Kim i am not looking forward to it. i weighed last week at 8st 4lb so pretty happy with that.
really can't wait for new year to start. going to get back into my running with avengence.
will try to reply to everyone soon. busy day ahead but hugs to you all x

thank you Kim. i am doing good (ish). OH hadn't been taking our split very well but hopefully he will get there. it is hard getting all of his emotions as it can make me feel guilty at times but i keep going back to how different i feel. more happy and that speaks volumes for me.
biggest decision ever even though i know deep down i should have did it years ago
food wise i will admit i have did been rubbish. wine crisps and generally whatever i fancy i have. i feel good but not good enough and would really like to get back into the sw way so that i have some control.
funny enough the scales show 8st 2lb today yay!! something must be going on as its star week though i have noticed i weigh more the week leading up to it.
so i guess weight wise i am where i want to be (merry xmas to me)but want to up the running. missing the buzz.
how are you Kim? bearing up and missing Charlie i imagine but try to focus on the future. getting that damn neck sorted out. how hellish for you! new baby on the way must be so exciting too :)

Well final weigh in before Xmas.

Another pound off so finish the challenge at 9st 4lbs.

Limiting any gains over the festive period will be difficult. Still intend to enjoy myself.
Got rid of gains before so I`ll do it again!!

When are we starting the new challenge?

Hope to dip into the 8`s in the new year. Haven`t been there for about 15 years!!
 
Morning ladies, final weight is 9st 1.6lbs a total of 5.2lb loss which will probably go back on during Christmas ?. Quite far from target but hey ho!

Hi all, first post other than introduction post, I was 8 stone 3 pounds at 5.4, 4 years ago, then I quit smoking and went up too 11.4 yikes that was scarey and I didnt notice it till last May when I was maybe a little heavier, went on 1200 cals a day for about 4 months but started to feel sad and deprived so over criggy last year I didnt bother and 5 months ago I went back on the 1200 a day again but to be honest there wasnt many days were I could stick to it so yo yoed and then a friend who is on SW said she would give me some books etc to lend, that was 3 weeks ago and I am now down to 9 stone 10 lbs not really happy as I have only lost 7 lbs and still want to get back under 9 stone, just 1 lb under would be great, cant say I am hungry ever just crave choccy all the while LOL and sweet things. Could eat for England when I smoked now I cant look at a sweet, will it ever be possible to have maybe a small amount a week, good luck all xx:wave_cry:

Welcome Alex, giving up smoking was the start of my weight gain too. I have been off them now for 3 years. There is quite a lot of low syn chocolate bars you can have like Curley quark which I think is only 6 syns. I had that as my treat every night and it took a while to eat.

Christmas eve eve today!!

I'm finally all wrapped up apart from 1 of mililes prezzies and one of Rich's which is at my Nanna's house.

Been having really rubbish sleeps recently, been taking me ages to get to sleep and then I can hear Millie fidgeting and that makes it harder for me to nod off. Only had 6 hours sleep last night and i'm off out with Millie, Nanna and my sister today. We are going to Slug and lettuce and having a drink and some lunch. Might need some red bull first though!

Feeling really slim today so I might go and jump on the scales and if a good result i'll pop to boots later and get my body fat reading done.
 
Hi ladies just a quick update sorry not been on in a while it's busy time final wi this evening 9.12.5 so happy with that as was out sat night and ate out Sunday so 2 weekends out and only 1/2 on
Haven't made challenge target 9.7 but feel happy being able to have few days off plan and kind of maintain :)
I've had to go to emergency dentist today cause a really large filling has fallen out my tooth broke years ago and nearly 3/4 off it is a filling got to go back on 21st to either get it filled again or pulled, he's given me antibiotics too incase it doesn't settle down over Christmas.... Just what I need .. Not lol

Good morning everyone.

Not been very talkative on here recently but I just want to wish you all a merry Christmas and hope to see you all on here more come 2014 or even the 27th dec :p

I have to go to work on Saturday to chat to my boss about returning to work :-(

On a positive I've managed to maintain at 10st 7.5lb since I weighed on Saturday so I'm feeling rather positive about the next 3 days even with a slight gain I'll jump straight back on it and aim to have it off within a week!

Some eating hints to help in your task to lose weight:
