Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Well, I`ve sorted out my main menu for today.

Breakfast: Frozen fruit (defrosted!) & Natural yogurt
Lunch: 1% Mugshot soup, chicken noodle flavour & 2 slices wm bread
Dinner: Remains of yesterday`s roast pork, carrots & sprouts

I`ve measured my milk allowance for today, 300ml of 1% milk.
Intend to have a glass of squash with every meal to up my liquid intake
but haven`t sorted out my syns yet.

The only thing I would say here is its not a lot of food and maybe have a more substantial lunch than a Mugshot! You could knock up a veggie soup in 30 minutes and would last you the week. Try having a sandwich with the Mugshot today if you're already having bread.

I love Italy Kim, but I don't think he thinks it is far enough for a honeymoon.... told you-just awkward We've spoke about it and he has admitted that actually if we're somewhere with a stunning hotel and room, with the all inclusive then it wouldn't be the end of the world if we did have some rain. The hotel in Mexico has a jacuzzi bath in the room, all inclusive mini bar and all inclusive room service.... so if it was raining we wouldn't even have to leave the room if we didn't want (and let's face it it's our honeymoon ;) ) but there's plenty to do inside the hotel as well.... yeah I ideally we wouldn't want it to be raining, but I doubt it would rain for too much of the two weeks. Also seen another nice hotel in Dominican now (thanks for the advice Nikki) and will keep looking at other places too, need to wait for next years prices to be released, then I think we need to just book and it'll be done then

We stayed at the riu tequila in Mexico and even though it rained it was my best holiday ever!

They have a massive buffet/bar in the middle of both pools and because it's all open sides even if it rains it's still a lovely place to sit and drink cocktails. Rich says we can go back when Millie is a bit bigger. There is an amazing onsite night club and the shows they put on where fab! You can also use all the other facilities of the sister hotels which is good. The rooms are massive and yet have optics in the room which are included so you can help yourself to the drinks.

When I went to domican I stayed at the gran ventana hotel in Puerto plata and that was lovely but not as big as the Mexico one.

Yeah, I`m having spuds with my dinner.
Good idea about the mugshot! I`ve got some ham & tomatoes in the fridge
so I`ll have a ham & tomato sandwich as well as the mugshot for lunch.
Got apples, grapes & oranges as well. All sw friendly if I feel the need to nibble
on something!!

Just weighed in at Boots. Can`t say I`m too surprised at the result.
Weighed in at exactly 10st.
I`m hoping to lose about a pound a week for the rest of the challenge.
Trouble is March is such a busy month!!
It`s our anniversary tomorrow. One of our granddaughter`s birthday Friday.
Next week is my dad`s birthday. Before the end of the month is my birthday
and our oldest`s birthday as well!! Will justy have to have a little piece of cake
and not go overboard on anything else!! :)

Thats not too bad Annette, only a 7lb gain since you last weighed 7 weeks ago.
Unfortunately, life does get in the way of us slimmers, but try and do some damage control with all your socials.....eat strictly with SW and keep your syns low (not below 5) the week of an event, so at least it shouldn't have too much of a negative effect on your weight loss. The hard bit is trying to refuse the scrummy food that will be on offer.....stay strong :)

I've sts this week, which is a miracle as I've had birthday parties and a night out. I've not managed to do sw through a social event yet, it almost seems unthinkable, but the reality is that a night off plays havoc with my motivation and I can't seem to get back into the swing of things after. I've only got myself to blame, I know. :-( Still, onwards and upwards - nothing on this week, what a relief!

Probably should change my WI to a Fri rather than a Mon so I've got time to put any weekend socialising right!
 
I've been doing that lately, having my off plan times and keeping syns low the rest of the week... I don't know how people lose weight normally when planning weddings-we have so many plans and so much free cake lol.


I'm considering doing an open university degree? Have any of you done one and do you think they're worth while?

I'm doing an English open Uni degree. I love it!! I'm going to change it to an open degree though because I fancy doing some maths and science too x

I changed my WI day to a Friday for that very reason.....trouble is I dont drink now lol!

Pleased to report a 1 1/2lb loss tonight woohoo !!
So only 1lb to get my stone !!!
Need to be super good this week.. We entertaining on sat night but I'm planning sw menu to limit the damage... It will just be the drink but hoping not to have too many lol

Just had chicken stirfry for dinner.
Lunch was ham & tomato toastie and
breakfast was boiled eggs - no toast!

Been snacking on fruit.
Not had any syns yet. Looking forward to a freddo choccie bar!!

You're doing reall well Annette.....how are you finding it? I always find the first week a bit of a struggle, but after that its great. Keep drinking plenty and enjoy your syns x

Must admit it`s a bit of a struggle!
It feels like I`m a newbie but still know the plan.
I`m drinking water with every meal to up my liquid intake.

Tomorrow I`ll try to restart my daily walks.
Haven`t done them since my accident.

Looks like the last nice day for a while :(

Going out with mum later to help her choose a new washing machine.
Feeling good about today. Going out for my walk soon before the
shopping expeditition. Even got dinner sorted, lamb stew!!
Not usually so organised - has someone spiked my tea? :)

your doing great too. i can't remember the last time i was on plan. can see it on the scales though
 
up to 4.5 miles this week with my running. will do this 3 times week for two weeks.
still not seeing scales move seeing difference in my tummy
