I need your help!

My mam is turning 50 in August and I have decided to make her a scrapbook filled with photos, memories and memorabilia from 1962 (the year she was born) onwards.

I have ordered a fantastic looking scrapbook from E-bay personalised with her name, "Celebrating 50 years of Magical Memories", and the date of her 50th Birthday on the front. I really want to make this something she can treasure for years to come.

I am looking for all of the inspiration I can get for the 60's, 70's and 80's. What kind of things could I put in the scrapbook? What kind of things can I decorate the pages with that will fit with a certain era? Interesting facts? Things you remember from those years?

Any ideas/inspiration would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks in advance :)

Wow, some fantastic ideas!! Thank you so much Sian :D

I am going to try and do a page for specific milestones in her life i.e. being born, marrying my dad, my brother being born, me being born, etc. My scrapbook is due to arrive at the beginning of next week and then I can make a start on it! Until then I'm going to try and gather as much information/inspiration as possible. It's lucky we just cleared out our loft and found a tonne of old photographs, some of those will come in handy!

Sorry I don't have any ideas but I just wanted to say what a lovely, thoughtful daughter your mam has!
