Are tetras allowed week 1

Hi everyone, I am on day 6 and reading the forum every day to stay focsused. I have just read somewhere about tetras not being allowed until week 2. Is this correct because I'm panicking as I had one on day 2 and 3 due to working evenings. I thought they were the same as the shakes just already made up and a bit more concentrated. I drank the extra water for that day as my cdc advised me to do. Help I am worried I have mucked up my first week. Zoe xx :(

My first weigh in is Monday morning - very excited but I don't feel like I've lost much. Hope the scales proove me wrong. I have a lot to lose so I suppose I won't feel it yet. Zoe x

I didn't have any tetras to start with but know that is what i live on along with a bar in the evening, i don't think i would get through the diet without tetras.

Have you tried freezing them yet? Because they are milky, they go like ice cream once they've been defrosting for an hour or so. definietly recommend trying them this way! :-D x

hi zoe im now coming to the end of day 4 and ive got my first weigh in early on monday afternoon after only 5 days.let me know how yours goes.good luck xxx

Bars first week

This is my first post, so sorry if this is in the wrong thread.....still finding my way around.

I've collected my Cambridge and starting tomorrow. I've bought porridge for breakfast, tetra's and bars.

I know that bars aren't allowed week one, but what will happen if I ignore this?

Also, is anything else good for stale breath, other than Gold Spot? Any gum allowed?

They are ready made shakes, 3 flavours. Handy for taking out and about.
Ah I see, thank you, we were only discussing this earlier me and DH, we stayed in all day today because we didnt want to miss a meal time.:roofles:

Hi Kimmi welcome to mini's I'm just starting week 2 and I believe you aren't allowed bars until week 3 as they have a higher carb content and could interfere with ketosis if taken too soon.

i think weight loss would not be as good if you had a bar now, i have some in the house to but trying not to have one. when i do start on them im gonna chop them into bits and put in fridge. i am also going to keep some tetra packs in the car so if im out all day and get hungry, i can have one without starving all day x

I know what you mean, I've put one into my daughter's changing bag so that I've got a meal if we are out and about... although because I don't feel hungry I've been waiting until I get home and making up a shake. Just drinking tea and water while out.

To be fair, my CD lady did say to not start the bars but I thought it would be better to have a bar week one, rather than break it all together if I weaken.

Ok, so no bars it is then. xxx

I'm so worried that I'm going to get up in the morning and forget that I'm starting it and have my usual coffee and two choc bics.

you'll be fine put your shake next to the kettle and hide the biscuits lol. its nice to be amongst others in the same boat, some of my friends are a little overweight but i felt alone before joining here.
