what does it say in your contract/terms of employment.

I work for the NHS and in mine it says full pay for 6 months then it starts reducing!!!!

hey fuzzy,
just lending my support.
i too work for nhs & as i was aware you should get full pay for 6 mths then 1/2 pay for 6 mths, irrelevant of injury/ sickness.
hope you get a satisfactory outcome.
i slipped last week when we had a faulty batch of catheter bags & in the dark i didn't see the massive puddle of wee on the floor. thankfully it just left me sore for a couple of days, but i made sure i filled in an accident form !

Was working on the bank for two years only been permanent for 7 months, so they only count it as less than a year. But my argument is i don't care about this stupid 1 month full pay rubbish. My injury is work related, if it wasn't for the patient hurting my back i wouldn't be off work....xxx
