atkins before starting?

Was all ready to start today but delivery not due till after 4, plus from reading the forums I might be best to study up a bit before starting.
Want to be a few days in before working and I work Fri-mon so thinking of going carb free for the next few days and starting on Monday. Will that make it easier? I did that last time I did CD but first week was still awful. Or should I just bite the bullet and starve till the packs come then start tonight?
 
Going Atkins/Low-carb is a good idea, every little bit of preparation helps. :)
 
Or if you are desperate to start today just have a small protein meal until your delivery arrives.

I started on Sunday as it is half term this week and I am off work, from previous experience running to the loo every 15 minutes for the first few days is not good when you are in lessons!
