Well everyone in dublin seems to call anyone who doesn't live in dublin a culchie lol. Anyone outside "the pale" basically Yeah a culchie would be someone who lives in rural ireland (I don't, I live in a town). Culchie sayings are very funny though. "She's as awkward as a sow in reverse" LOL
You've just reminded me of the time I visited Wales. I could not understand a word this guy was saying in a bar. I thought he was speaking welsh and then realised he was saying "did you come over in the boat?" I was confused for 20 minutes...

I can't think of any irish accent I particularly like? The donegal accent is a nice mix of north and south I suppose.

BUNDORAN..... definately not the nicest part of Donegal. You wanna head up to the top. Malin is gorgeous, Culdaff, carndonagh, Clonmany. Beautiful views and the best Donegal accents about.

I have to say I love the Newcastle accent, Liverpool accent and the scottish accents..
