So what you're saying in so many words is that the green eyed monster took over a little bit (well, thats what it sounds like to me). Post natal depression ain't to be scoffed at, no way josé... but I'm still of the impression that you deserved an apology for being called such a horrid name by your best friend. I sometimes have little outbursts and I always apologise if I've said something nasty that I didnt mean.

You both look fab to me!! :D xx

Yea it was a little jealousy of I was losing and she hadn't yet found the motivation.. But I think moreso on the fact that myself and Elaine had gotten quite close and I think she was feeling a bit pushed out.. I was meeting Elaine last minute for dinner or going for a little Sunday drink r having nights out r going shopping... When I'd only see her maybe once r twice a month..
But that was because I work Monday to Friday at the time til 5pm.. So by time I got home n fed it was after 6 so to get down to her was near impossible.. I'd be in the car travelling longer than I'd be spending with her..
And I think my 'freedom' to do what I want, when i want without organising babysitters etc got to her too a little bit...
 
I suppose she was probably feeling lonely. But its not your fault that she has a baby now and less free time. Does she ever drive down to dublin to you?

I went to scotch hall anyway for a mosey. Didn't find anything nice. Wish I was skinny so I looked nice in any old thing. Depressed now and going home :'(

Hey lovely lady! I see you have your new "Maintainer" badge! Woop wooo! I'm heading to the big smoke this weekend to see Batman Live with the OH. Unfortunately what we didnt realise was we also had tickets to a comedy gig on the same night (at the same time lol). Ooops! What you getting up to hon? xx

Nope.. Never!! In all the 18 years I've known her she's probably come to me 3 r 4 times.. She's from Dublin (Northside) but still was always be doing the travelling.. Even before I got my car.. I'd be getting 2 buses across..
But my Nana n Aunt live over there so i'd b poppin to see them too..

Internet and email has been down since yesterday afternoon and has only come on now.. Been going out of my mind!!! :cry: Hopefully it stays back now :D

How are you today? Feeling better than last night? :( Sorry wasn't here to give ya a hug.. Only left Michelle's (Bettystown) after 9 then got feckin lost!!!!! So was quite late getting home so I just climbed into bed n went snoozies.. :D
 
Oh yeah I forgot you were going to see Batman. Hope you enjoy it!!

I've no plans. Nothing exciting going on at all. Might go get some hens tomorrow. Our last ones were taken by a fox, but we've modified so hopefully these ones will be fine. So thats the height of the excitement for my weekend!

Well thats not really fair either? Has she no car or anything so she could take a trip to see you? Or meet you to go shopping in dublin? I drive to my sisters, park there and then she drives us into blanch or somewhere for shopping (I wouldnt know where I was going lol).

Yeah I had a very saaaad evening... just feeling sorry for myself really cuz I couldnt find anything. Is it just me or are there ONLY skinny jeans available to buy these days? (I look crap in skinny jeans :( )

Awwwwh the poor chickens... taken by a fox. Thats terrible... I'm such a softie for chickens for some reason (even though they're delicious to eat). I have a soft spot for cows too.. maybe I'm a bit sadistic...

I'd love a few hens when I have my own house and garden :) x

No not just you.. that's all that's out.. There's only crap out in the shops at the minute.. Unless yer a size 0!! I find loadsa gorgeous dresses etc for Elaine.. Just nothing for me!! :mad:

The last time she was meant to come see me was because her husband was playing a football match up my way.. Then his match was cancelled so she text and said "Heya Peters match is cancelled so I wont b up"
If i'm honest was a bit annoyed by that.. Dont use me coz he's busy!!!
 
Was hoping it wasn't just me... all the clothes seriously look like they're for super thin girls.. I'd look ridiculous in them! I cant wear skinny jeans at all, I think they're uncomfortable & look horrid on my big legs :(

Thats a bit cheeky of her!!! She cancels your meeting just because he has no footie? Is she only allowed out of the house when he's busy or something?! ARGH! :mad: :mad:
 
I love cows too, they are really cute. Think it's there big noses. We live in the country so plenty animals around here. Hubby wanted to buy a llama to protect the hens lol. I can't even afford new clothes (can pull my jeans down now without undoing them) and he wants to buy a big llama. We've no field to even keep it in, he said we could put it in the garden......I love animals but only if there is enough space for them. I'd love a pig, a goat and a donkey.....anyway bit off track there lol.

Dubchick just butting in on you and Sarah's conversation about this girl, it does kinda look like if you didn't make any effort there wouldn't be a friendship at all.....you are too good! xx

Evening ladies, loving the conversation bout animals. I love all animals we were driving down some country lanes tonight (en route to a quiet pub in the midst of nowhere, where theres no phone signal-bliss) and some chickens were running along on front of our van it was hilarious they look so funny when they run, especially when Mr M started to drive a bit faster (yeah ok so you had to be there)
My favorite are pigs though.

I'm a complete reptile nut and I was going out last week and a lady up the road put 3 vivariums (reptile tanks) out on her drive with a sign saying "take me away" so we did! So I've spent the last week every night in different reptile shops thinking about what to put in them. It has absolutely cheered me up no end, plus my kids have been so excited about it too.
We've definitely decided on a tortoise there so lush:)

Sorry a little of subject I'm just buzzing at the mo so watch this space!

By the way, Frances you honestly are too good to ever be hurt by a so called friend envious of you or not a true friend would never be so hurtful or just plain bloody horrid. I hope you get the apology you deserve.

I kno it sounds all very one sided but she's been a gem thru an awful lot for me.. Been a thorn in the side too at times mind..
Am just gona see how it pans out.. We chatted about the whole situation n its in the past now..
But I doubt we'll even be as close as we were.. It was an awful thing to say (and publish on the internet!!) No matter what a person done on me I cud never speak anyone like that.. Never mind someone I called a best mate..
It makes me feel sad tho that i've lost her.. She was my best mate the last 18 years.. Its a long time..
 
It was really wrong of her. There was just no need to make such a horrible comment like that... Especially publicly to all her friends on FB... Its honestly a bit childish, what age is she hon? Such a silly thing for her to blow out of proportion. You can't help that you're doing well in your diet, she let the jealousy get the best of her. Like I'm terribly jealous of my sister and I always will be (she has it all in my eyes) but I could never say something so hateful simply because I'm jealous because even if I feel that way, she's still like a best friend and a sister!
Its sad to hear you won't be as close again... Unfortunately people can't take back things they've said and done eh?! Sending hugs xx

Yeah Dubchick it can be sad when a long term relationship breaks down, but sometimes when people get older they change and their lives can lead in very different directions. Hope you can stay in touch. I understand how you feel. I had a friendship that was long kinda go wayward as we grew up. It is sad. ((((((hugs))))))to you..

Sarah congrates on the loss and enjoy your day off, never know this could kick start your losses for you again xx

Yea that's the mad thing.. In my eyes she has everything.. I mean, she lost her job just before she got married, then got pregnant so timing cudn't hav been worse..
BUT.. She has a brilliant husband who adores her, a beautiful house, the most adorable little girl.. Everything I think every girl wants (without the money troubles but we all hav them) So I dont get it!!
But sure there ya go.. What's been said, like Sarah said, can't be taken back.. Am over it.. Will see what happens :D
