I did W2D1 yesterday and found it easier than expected! I think because it was 3x 15 minutes instead of 4x 10 minutes it seemed shorter although you're running for longer? Weird!

Well done! I'm going to have to have 3 days between runs this week just cos of the way my shifts work, so am looking forward to doing wk1 d2 on friday :) Have already got my 10k-half marathon app downloaded ready! Am very excited an have the full support of the trainers at my gym :) x

Due to training for my new job, coupled with working with staff who can't turn up on time, I've not managed to get to the gym since Wednesday-so have only just managed wk1 d2! I must admit I found it alot easier than d1, and even got a bit carried away on the 3rd run and ended up doing an extra 2mins-was too busy running to Steps!! Lol!! Ended up doing 55mins in total, cos 53 is weird, and I've got a thing about numbers having to be an even number or a multiple of 5!! Don't ask lol xx

That's a shame about not getting a chance to hit the gym welshtigger, hope the new job's working out though :)

I start week 3 today. I finally felt comfortable on Friday when I did r3w2, albeit a bit slow. But I have no race planned so the aim for me is nit 10k as such but just being able to jog for 1hr & then may be I'll speed up as I incorporate it into my life....we'll see :)

Yeah the new job is fab thanks :) don't actually finish my other job til tomorrow so been fitting in training on my days off! Will get to the gym this evening, for cross training and weights and then run tomorrow :)

Completed day 1 week 3 & dare I say it....it felt 'good'!!!! That's possibly too strong a word, but speed is up & I managed it well - I think so anyway! :)

Well I'm not sure whether I'm going to make the gym tomorrow as fancy going out to celebrate leaving 'job from hell' so did wk1 d3 today! I know I shouldn't have as I only did d2 yesterday but alternated my runs-did the 1st and 3rd at 7.5-8.0k/hr and the 2nd and 4th at 6.8-7.2k/hr and did all my walking at 5.5! I also gave myself 3 mins instead of 1 in the middle, and then that gave me 55mins ;) I also increased my distance from 3.5miles on d1, 3.75miles on d2 and then 4.16miles for d3 so really pleased and didn't feel like I was about to die! Am really chuffed :) xx
