bars

    Can anyone advice me if it is essential to not have the bars in the first week? This is my second time round on cambridge. Will it delay me getting into ketosis?

    Hi there.

    The bars are not recommended until week 2 the same as the tetrabricks. You can however have the bouillon stock, which is lovely!!

    Oh my god i have been having the tetras constantly for my first two weeks

    My CDC would'nt let me!!! Bummer!!!

    I was told that I should have at least 2 weeks SS'ing entirely on shakes and soups, before she inroduced the Tetrabricks and the bars!

    I am sure a CDC on here can advise, as I only have her to go from!

    Help!!!

    Was Cambridge, now maintaining
    Tetras from the beginning. Bars from week 3.

    As for the original question. I guess it depends how long you were 'off the wagon'.

    In most cases I would say wait until week 3.

    i had tetras from the first week.. and this is my second week and i now got 3 bars.. i have only had 1 bar yesterday as a quick fix..

    they have more carbs in and can affect ketosis apparently...
