Beginner - questions??

Im just sticking to sparkling water and black coffee ..........Im lucky that, Ive never like coke or fizzy drinks , even squash I have a splash in water . I do like my coffee strong though lol, get through 150g coffee a week.
 
On other VLCD they don't recommend using the bars for the first week as they have a slightly higher carb content.
 
Exante are different though, you can have bars from day 1
