Day 11 done

Better than yesterday but still not great. All my meals were out, and I made good choices I think but no info / control on cooking (oil, butter etc

Breakfast: Banana and pear, black coffee
Lunch: small piece of roast lamb with roasted root veg (guessing 4 syns for oil). 3 oat crackers with small piece of cheese (part HEXA & HEXB). Fruit salad (mainly melon).
Dinner: steak with green beans (4 syns for butter / oil), oil). 3 oat crackers with small piece of cheese (rest HEXA & HEXB). 1. large glasses of wine (7 syns)
Other drinks: water, black coffee
Syns: 15

I have lunch out again today but rest of meals before Monday weigh in will be at home and should be easier
 
Day 12 - started well but ended badly ...

Breakfast:
35g All Bran with low fat milk (HEXA), fruit salad (mainly grapes and melon), black coffee
Lunch: super food salad with grilled halloumi (8), edamame beans, quinoa (HEXB) and avocado (8), lots of wine (at least 20)
Dinner: chips (10)
Syns: 46

Woke up this morning really angry with myself - had a sneaky weigh expecting a gain but I am actually down - this has spurred me on to try to have 2 good days before weighing on Monday.
 
Day 13 - slightly better ... got up late so missed breakfast

Brunch:
2 crustless quiches with sprinkling of cheese (HEXA) with coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Dinner: (out) scallops followed by soy glazed salmon (guessing 2 syns for sauce) with mixed veg (2 syns for butter) also "stole" 2 chips (1 syn) and a few spoons of dessert (5 syns). 2 small glasses of wine (10 syns)
Syns: 20

Not perfect but not too bad, and I went for a really long walk - I think I walked about 12K
 
Day 14 -

Breakfast:
1 crustless quiches with sprinkling of cheese (HEXA) with coffee with milk (part HEXA), chicken tikka
Lunch: (out again!) bbq - had chicken, a chop and 1 sausage (5 syns) with some salads without dressing, 2 glasses of wine (14 syns)
Dinner: chicken and broccoli
Syns: 19

This week has been really difficult - my meals at home have been good, but I have been out a lot and invariably that has involved alcohol, sometimes way too much alcohol - that is going to be my focus for next week.

Day 15 - good day - I was down 1lb this morning - which, given the week I had, is more than I deserved. I seem to have found my motivation again and had a perfect SW day:

Breakfast:
35g bran flakes with skimmed milk (part HEXA) and 2 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Lunch: chicken tikka with salad (lettuce, grated carrots, cherry tomatoes - no dressing), apple
Snack: crustless quiche (1 syn cheese)
Dinner: turkey stir fry (2 syns for oil) with mushrooms, beansprouts & cabbage with 1 spoon of soy based sauce (2 syns)
Syns: 5

Feeling motivated for the week ahead. My exercise and food were good last week, but wine was a disaster. I am determined to reign it in this week. I won't say I am going to cut out completely (have a big family lunch planned for Easter on Sunday and will definitely be having a few glasses of wine) but will do it within my syns. All my meals this week should be at home / within my full control. My plan is to manage sys to 5 most days and then have a bit more flexibility at the weekend for a few glasses of wine.
 
Day 16 - another good day - probably eaten too much tonight though - at least it was all veg

Breakfast:
35g bran flakes (HEXB) with skimmed milk (part HEXA) and 1 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Snack: Apple
Lunch: Chicken tikka with salad (lettuce, grated carrots, cherry tomatoes - no dressing), clementine.
Snack: Crustless quiche (1 syn cheese)
Dinner: Pan fried salmon (2 syns for oil) with cous cous and veg (broccoli, asparagus, kale, peas, carrots, baby sweet corn)
Other drinks: black coffee, tea with milk (part HEXA), water

I would love to see 8 on the scales instead of 9 by next Monday - would need a 3 lb loss - might be feasible if I can keep this up for most of the week?
 
Day 17 - I am on a roll ...

Breakfast:
35g bran flakes (HEXB) with skimmed milk (part HEXA) and 2 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Snack: Apple
Lunch: Salmon (2 syns for oil) and veg (broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas), clementine
Snack: Chicken tikka, apple
Dinner: Was very hungry earlier (hence the snack) but not really this evening so had crustless quiche (1 syn cheese) and a pear
Other drinks: water

Day 18 - Still going well ...

Breakfast:
35g bran flakes (HEXB) with skimmed milk (part HEXA) and 3 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Snack: Apple
Lunch: Chicken, butternut squash chips (2 syns for oil) and veg (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower)
Snack: Apple
Dinner: Same as lunch (using up leftovers)
Other drinks: water, a few sips of wine (will count as 2 syns but was probably less)
Syns: 6

Next few days are going to be harder but I am still feeling quite motivated so will - i hope - manage to resist all of the Easter temptation
 
Day 19 - Start of the holiday weekend - food still good but I did not manage to resist the red wine ...

Lunch: 2 crustless quick (cheese - remaining HEXA)

Day 20 - Still a bit relaxed - but that's OK

Snack: 2 crustless quick (cheese - remaining HEXA) , clementine
Dinner: Steak, Salad (lettuce, cherry tomatoes, salad onions, radishes, avocado (2 syncs)) and 6 chips (2 syns)
Other drinks: water, 2 large glasses of red wine (14 syns)

Day 21- I planned to be a bit off track- and didn't go too far off ...

Breakfast: 2 crustless quiches, apple, 3 coffees with skimmed mike (HEXA)
Snack: fruit- strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes
Lunch/Dinner: Roast lamb, 2 small roast potatoes (6 syns), veg (kale, carrots, baby sweet corn, carrots, mange touts), teaspoon of leeks in cheese sauce (3),
Cheese and crackers (10 syns?), strawberries with 0 fat greek yogurt, 3 glasses of wine (18 syns)
Other drinks: water

Day 22- weight this morning was 125.6 lbs, down 3.8lb since last Monday - really pleased with that! I had a headache this morning so thinking I much have had more wine than I counted last night, and probably a bit dehydrated this morning.

Breakfast: strawberries with 0 fat greek yogurt. Coffee with skimmed mike (HEXA)
Lunch: toasted ham and cheese sandwich, bread (6 syns), cheese (4 syns), tea with milk (HEXA)
Snack: Apple, clementine
Dinner: beef and veg (cabbage, carrots, red onions, bean sprouts) stir fry with soy sauce, 2 glasses red wine (12 syns), crackers and cheese (10 syns?)
Other drinks: water

Still a bit off plan but relieved to get through the bank holiday weekend without too much damage. Back to routine tomorrow. Will be easier. Plan for the rest of the week is low syns (5ish) and no wine!
 
Day 23- fully on plan day. Even though it was Tuesday felt like the start of a new week. Again this week I am planning 3 (or perhaps 4) careful days, giving me a little more flexibility at the weekend for socialising (invariably means a glass or 2 of wine) or a meal out.

Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled, strawberries, 2 coffee with skimmed mike (HEXA)
Lunch: roast lamb and salad (mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes, salad onions, radishes - no dressing)
Snack: Apple, clementine
Dinner: butternut squash soup (not made myself and not exactly sure what was in it and didnt want to ask - on the assumption that there was some butter/oil used in the cooking, and maybe cornflour to thicken I am going to count as 5 syns), 1 slick of brown wholemeal home made bread (HEXB)
Other drinks: water (lots!), tea with skimmed milk (HEXA)

Day 24- another on plan day.

Breakfast: 35g bran flakes (HEXB) with raspberries and skimmed milk (part HEXA) and 1 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Snack: Apple, clementine
Lunch: chicken tikka and salad (lettuce, cherry tomatoes, grated carrots, sweet corn)
Snack: Apple, clementine
Dinner: pan fried salmon (2 syns for oil), cous cous and veg (broccoli, green beans, sugar snap peas) + bite of lightly dusted chicken tender (piece I had was about the size of a chicken nugget so will count as 1.5 syns), strawberries, blueberries and a few grapes
Other drinks: water, tea with skimmed milk (HEXA)

Day 25- I have eaten a lot today; but all on plan.

Snack: chicken tikka
Dinner: grilled pork chop, veg (kale, peas, broccoli, asparagus), 2 spoons of mashed potato (2 syns for butter) + 1 glass of red wine (7 syns)

Day 26- Food was good but too much wine ....

Breakfast: 35g cornflakes flakes (HEXB) with skimmed milk (part HEXA) and 2 coffee with milk (part HEXA)

Lunch: left over porch chop and veg, pear
Snack: clementine
Dinner: turkey stir fry (2 syns for oil) 3 glasses of red wine (21 syns)
Other drinks: water, black coffee

I need to either not have wine - or learn to stop at 2 glasses
 
Day 27- OK day for a weekend.

Breakfast: 2 egg muffins (2 eggs, zero fat total greek yogurt, bacon (fat removed) mushrooms & onions) and 3 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Snack: Clementine
Lunch: left over turkey stir fry
Snack: apple
Dinner: roast chicken, roasted cubes of potato (5 syns for oil/butter) + veg with 1 glass of red wine (7 syns)
Other drinks: small glass of champagne (5 syns), water, 1 coffee with milk (part HEXA).
