Here to follow. You have almost been on plan 4 weeks. Are you enjoying it and finding it easy to stick to?
 
Day 28-

Breakfast: 2 duck eggs scrambled, 1 slice of wholemeal bread (HEXB) and and 3 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Lunch: BBQ - chicken and lamb chop, salad (lettuce, cherry tomatoes, peppers, radishes - no dressing), 2 glasses of wine (14 syns)
Dinner: not very hungry - pear, 2 clementines, a few spoons of pasta with pesto (4 syns?) and a small glass of wine (5 syns)
Other drinks: water, 2 tea with milk (part HEXA).
Syns: 23

Not sure what to expect tomorrow after such a good loss last week - my food has been on plan, but a few too many days of wine - we'll see. Plan for next week is low sys / no wine Monday to Friday, more relaxed for the weekend.

Yes- I am a bit surprised but I am enjoying the food and definitely starting to notice the difference in my clothes. My biggest challenge (which you will know if you have read my diary) is wine. My efforts at cutting back have not really been that successful - going to try to limit to the weekend (Sat/Sun) only.

How long have you been doing slimming world? How are you finding it?

Hello lovely, I seen your post on one of the other forums and thought I'd find your diary and subscribe as we seem to be a similar weight with a similar target :)

I also love wine and it's my biggest downfall... wine and socializing!! x

Snap for the target! And snap for wine and socialising! You have done really well though - any tips to manage wine / socialising on slimming world?
 
Day 29- Weigh in at 125lbs - so 0.6 loss. Small but in the right direction and have such a big loss last week I was not expecting much

Good day today. Was very busy in work and though I ate plenty I was less preoccupied with food than I normally am.

Breakfast: home made bran muffin (HEXB) and 2 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Lunch: chicken tikka and salad (lettuce, tomatoes, grated carrot, onion)
Snack: apple, clementine, home made egg muffin
Dinner: roast chicken and veg (peas, kale, asparagus)
Other drinks: water, black coffee
Syns: 0

My first zero syn day. I didn't intentionally aim for that but actually I don't feel that I am missing anything. I have read on here that you are encouraged to use your sys but really don't see the need to use for the sake of it. I get that over time you might end up feeling deprived and that it could trigger a binge but that's not going to happen after just 1 day; and especially 1 day were it just sort of happened naturally. is there more to it than that? Have I misunderstood something in this plan?

I'm a few days in. So far so good. I'm 23 weeks pregnant so not expecting big results yet, just stay the sames or small gains. I just need to get to grips with the unlimited free foods etc. I don't really have a portion control button, so trying to limited portion sizes and upping the speed foods to take their place.
 
Day 30- Was very hungry for some reason today- all on plan but I ate a lot!

Breakfast: home made bran muffin (HEXB) and 2 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Lunch: chicken tikka and salad (lettuce, tomatoes, grated carrot, onion)
Snack: apple, 2 clementine, 2 home made egg muffin, chicken leg without skin, 2 chicken nuggets (3 syns)
Dinner: turkey and veg stir fry (2 syns for oil)
Other drinks: water, black coffee
Syns: 5
 
I don't really have a portion control button, so trying to limited portion sizes and upping the speed foods to take their place.

I struggle with portion sizes too - I have not really been eating much pasta / rice / potatoes and find it easier to fill up plate with speed veg when all else I have is protein
 
Day 31- Still very hungry (TOTM?) and today I gave in ...

Breakfast: home made bran muffin (HEXB) and 2 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Lunch: chicken tikka and salad (lettuce, tomatoes, grated carrot, onion)
Snack: 2 apple, 3 clementine
Dinner: chicken breast and roasted veg- peppers, courgettes, onions (3 syns for oil), crackers with cheese (10? syns) and 3 glasses of wine (21 syns)
Other drinks: water, black coffee
Syns: 34 (not good!)
 
Day 32- Better day today

Breakfast: home made bran muffin (HEXB) and 3 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Lunch: chicken and veg (left over from dinner yesterday)
Snack: pear, clementine, 2 chicken nuggets (3 syns)
Dinner: pan fried turkey steaks (dry fried) and veg (broccoli, carrots, baby sweet corn, sugar snap peas)
Other drinks: water, tea with milk
Syns: 3
 
Day 33- Don't feel very well - think I am coming down with a cold - have not eaten enough

Breakfast: home made bran muffin (HEXB) and 2 coffee with milk (part HEXA)
Lunch: turkey and veg (left over from dinner yesterday)
Snack: apple, egg muffin with lean bacon, onion & mushroom
Dinner: planned to have tacos, but not feeling well and finally had nothing, well just an extra coffee with milk - need something to warm me up, should be within my HEXA as I only had 2 this morning
Other drinks: water
Syns: 0
 
Day 34 - I'm away for the weekend and so I know I am going to be off plan - will just try to make the best choices I can and not go too crazy with alcohol.

Breakfast: 2 soft boiled eggs, 2 black coffee
Snack: Egg muffin, 2 coffee with milk (HEXA)
Lunch: tacos - 2 mini shells (5 syns), spicy mince (1), lettuce, tomatoes, refried beans, sprinkle of cheese (HEXA), 0 fat Greek yogurt, spring onions
Snack: small handful of grapes
Dinner: Fish (without batter) and chips (5 syns for oil)
Other drinks: water, 3 small glasses of wine (18)
Syns: 29
 
Day 35 - yesterday was so off plan I'm almost embarrassed to write it down! Nothing was weighed or measured properly so syns are estimates.

Breakfast: full English- I avoided the sausages and toast and had bacon (fat removed), scrambled eggs, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. The eggs and mushrooms were cooked with butter, don't know the exact amount but counting as 5 syns. 5 coffee with milk (might have been over HEXA)
Snack: 2 bread sticks with guacamole and humus (10 syns)
Lunch: roast lamb, 2 small roast potatoes (4 for oil), leeks & cauliflower with 2 small spoons of cheese sauce (4 for cornflour and cheese), roast carrots and parsnip (2 for oil), 2 large glasses of wine (16 syns)
Snack: 3 Oat crackers (HEXB) with cheese (6 syns)
Other drinks: water, 5 g&t (15 syns)
Syns: 59

Is a G&T really only 3 syns? That seems like good 'value' compared to wine.

Definitely my worst day since I started this plan. But somehow I have managed to lose 1.2lbs this week. Not sure how that happened. Still BH weekend but I am back on plan today.
 
Day 36 -not exactly the perfect SW day I had hoped for but not too bad.

Brunch: 35g bran flakes (HEXB) with lots of strawberries and zero fat greek yogurt, 3 coffee with skimmed milk (HEXA)
Dinner: shared starters- I had 2 fish goujons (4 syns) and a tiny bit of deep fried brie (2 syns), followed by cod loin with Spanish rice (don't know exactly how it was cooked so probably not totally free but not a bad choice considering that everyone else had fish and chips!)
Snack: apple
Other drinks: water, 2 glasses of wine (14 syns), tea with skimmed milk
Syns: 20

Back to work tomorrow and aiming for 4 days of low syns (5ish) and lots of walking
 
Day 37 -way off track again, really tough to get back on plan after a few days off!

Breakfast: home made oat bran muffin (HEXB), 2 coffee with skimmed milk (HEXA)
Lunch: restaurant unexpectedly- make good food choice but definitely more butter/oil than if I had cooked at home- I had cod loin (again!) with roasted cherry tomatoes and pesto sauce (3 syns) and cous cous (3 syns for butter) and a small glass of prosecco (5 syns)
Snack: 2 apple, 2 clementines
Dinner: tacos - i used baby gem lettuce leaves instead of tacos which worked really well and had them with spicy mince (2 syns for flavouring), refried beans, sprinkling of light cheese (rest of HEXA), avocado (2 syns), cherry tomatoes, lettuce
Other drinks: water, 2 glasses of wine (14 syns), tea with skimmed milk
Syns: 29
 
Day 38 - better day today, but I have eaten too much fruit, all within plan though and no wine, so that is progress

Breakfast: home made oat bran muffin (HEXB), 2 coffee with skimmed milk (HEXA)
Snack: apple, clementine
Lunch: home made bolognese, cherry tomatoes
Snack: apple, grapes
Dinner: 2 grilled lamb chops, carrots, broccoli, mashed potatoes (4 syns for butter)
Other drinks: water, 2 black coffee, tea with skimmed milk
Syns: 4
 
Day 39 - still struggling to get back to it, had an impromptu lunch out which threw me off plan ...

Breakfast: home made egg bran muffin (HEXB), 2 coffee with skimmed milk (HEXA)
Lunch: it was more snacks than a proper lunch (spring rolls, prawn lollipops, chicken satay etc) and I did not eat much but it was not very healthy and high in syns - probably 20+
Snack: apple, egg muffin
Dinner: turkey dry fried with some soy sauce and veg (carrots, broccoli, sugar snap peas and baby corn). But then I had some chapati and curry (at lease 4 syns)
Other drinks: water, 2 black coffee, tea with skimmed milk
Syns: 25 (and I think that is being generous with myself)
 
My head has not been in it the last few weeks - after my 1.2 loss the first week of May I was +0.2 and then STS. I am now on holidays so that's it for me for this month - failed miserably on reaching target but on a most positive note most of my summer clothes fit (so I have not had to go out and buy stuff in a bigger size). My aim was to lose 1 stone before holidays- I managed 10 lbs. And while I will not be on plan during holiday I am determined not to go crazy and I will be back here full of determination in June.
 
Back from holidays yesterday, back on plan today. My next target is to get to 120lbs by end of June. That means I need to loose any holiday weight (think it is probably 3 or 4 lbs) and 4 more. I am aiming to be back here posting daily to keep me honest.
