Big unexpected gain?

Im so upset =[ I started the gym last week and did 3 sessions and zumba yesterday. I drink 2-3L a day anyway, the only thing I didn't do this week is eat all my weeklies like I normally do, I left 27 and 22APs - yet gained 2.5lbs? The only thing I can think of is undereating? Im back up to 18st so thought the weight would be dropping off!
 
could you be retaining water from all the exercise?
 
i had that on ww it'll be the shock of exercise lol mine was had a 6lb loss the next week!! i think the under eating is a myth as i never ate all my pp and never touched my weeklies. it'll be water as said. push for next week and reap the results then xx
 
Im off to the gym tonight so drinking plenty today and will have all my weeklies. Won't touch my APs and see what happens next week x
