Bit of help for a newbie - what day??

Hello

Right, I started this morning on my SW journey. I started off thinking I was on EE but now I think I might have been having a green day - I am not sure how important it is to know what day I am having but I would appreciate some thoughts and for people to let me know if I am doing anything wrong. Today I have had:

Breakfast: two weetabix + 125ml semi-skimmed milk.

Lunch: Jacket potato and beans, mullerlite.

Snack: Grapes

Dinner: 100g pork, dry roasted peppers, onions, fennel, sweet potato wedges, tomatoes.

Drinks: water, black coffee, tea with some more of my HexA allowance milk.

I've not had much fruit today and so was thinking about having some strawberries and a pear for a snack for later but think I might need to sneak in another HexA if I am on a green day??

Any thoughts, advice or encouragement would be greatly received!!

looking at your food diary it definitely looks like a green day, dont forget to try and have some syns it will help stop you getting bored and missing your treats :D you can have between 5 and 15, I like to enjoy between 10 and 15.

Yes it looks like a green day if you count the pork as your second HeB. If you don't fancy another HeA today don't worry as the second is sort of optional I think.

Yep - I'd say green with the pork being HEb.

For EE you would need 1/3 of your plate as superfree (think its superfree anyway - I don't doo EE!!)

I would personally leave things as they are.

The beauty of EE is that it is Extra Easy and you don't have to worry about it being green or red. You've eaten a variety of foods today so you should be nutritionally fine. I have alot of days that could be green or red days, but I don't look back over the day and fit a HEX in just for the sake of it, as long as I have had the right amount for an EE day. Some days might be more green, some might be more red but I stick to EE to keep things simple (unlike this post LOL!)

I don't know if that's the right thing to do, but it's worked for me!!

thanks for the feedback - good to know I am on the right track. I think I am going to stick to EE and writing everything down for now and then working out where I am at in the longer term after a couple of weeks. I have full intention of getting the most from my syns, I think I am on a diet 'high' at the moment and that the cravings will come in time!!
