biten in night by some bug

I woke up as I felt something at my arm. I've got about 10 big bites all over my arm. They r really sore & itchy. What can I put on them to help?

Antihistamine cream is good for bites. Go to the chemist and show them. Also, if any of the bites become infected they'll give you the correct cream

Calamine lotion is quite good too as it will neutralise acids and alkalis, so depending what's bitten you it would probably work on both xxx

Tea tree oil is also good. But as Eternity said best to have it checked out.

Thank you lovely ladies I popped to the chemist & the pharmacist gave me a cream its calmed down the itching x

I use E45 hydrocortisone cream. My lifes a misery at this time of year, I daredn't go in the garden! I've tried everything going and nothing works to deter them. And how come they always go for your bra and knicker lines?

We have a huge problem with midges, in Scotland they wear boots and have the teeth of pyrana. One day one of our dogs came in with massive lumps all over his body due to bites, his fur was stood on end. We had to take him to the vet to get a shot.
