is it just me.....or do any of you get quite bloated on a diet??

i am not too bad in the morning, i tend to bloat more near tea time. i mean serious bloating....i could pass for being pregnant.

is it because im not getting enough calories?? eg. today ive consumed 400 calories so far before dinner. should i eat more?? im thinking that my stomach is clinging onto that food ive consumed because im having too little food.

does that make sense?? lol

A bit of a change usually does me good, stops your body getting used to things and adjusting to low cal all the time :)

Bloating depends on what your body reacts to (some foods cause gas like apples, cabbage, broccoli, beans, white flour, pulses, gluten, etc)
ur on 400cals by 7pm ish, but are 1200 a day, so u are eating most ur cals in the evening. try it the other way round, try to eat a majority of ur cals b4 5pm, and then have a small dinner? try it for a few days see if it makes a difference.

however generaly i would think ur most active during the day so thats when u need most ur cals?
