Boiled mince?

    Anyone have any ideas how many calories are in 200g of boiled mince?:confused:

    Does stewed count as boiled?

    does 200g uncooked mince weigh the same as the boiled mince? What I mean is does it get lighter or heavier? Because if there is no change in weight then it will have the same calories as is on the label for the raw mince

    Good gets lighter cos I used frozen mince, shrinks too...okay I'll have to guesstimate until I get my scales...

    Boiled mince?? Is it worth it? I am not being antagonistic but what nutrition is in boiled mince?

    Protein, iron, selenium, zinc, and B vitamins.

    200g of cooked mince (average) is 571 calories, 48 protein, 0 carbs

    Dry fry the mince, pour out all excess fat once the mince is browned, sprinkle in an oxo cube, cover with boiling water, add a chopped onion, and simmer for about 40 minutes. Thicken with a little cornflour when cooked and its lovely.
