Bread???

What's the best bread to buy hex or sun wise as I avoid bread cos I'm not entirely sure what I should be havin xx

You can have 60g of any wholemeal bread. Thats about 1 slice from an 800g loaf or 2 slices from a 400g loaf.

Any bread other than wholemeal (eg granary, seeded, brown, malted, white etc) is not a HEX *unless* its specified on the HEX list.

I use 2 slices of the Weight Watchers thick sliced wholemeal as a HEb or 3 syns per slice, I find it the best by far.

The WW thick slice is pretty good. I find other 'diet' breads almost disintegrate on contact with a knife trying to spread something on it because they are so thin.

I use Hovis Wholemeal 800g loaf, when the allowance was 57g's it was 2 slices with the top & bottom crust cut off, I won't be changing that now its 60g's its too confusing!
