With you mentioning plates getting 3 inches bigger it made me think about when I was looking up scales at Argos, I remember when the majority of scales went up to 19 stone and for the ones that went higher you had to pay a lot more but that doens't seem to be the case anymore, most of them have a max weight of over 25st these days :/ it just seems like they're making it easier to be overweight
