Can anyone tell me more about the water flavours?

Hiya slinky,

the savorury drink you are allowed 2 a day... the other ones ie st clements and fruit of the forest you can have as much as you like.. ( cd say you should only have 1 teaspoon a day) but lighterlife it's unlimited... although don't go mad with it!

You can have it once you are in ketosis, and has malic acid rather than citric acid so you should be fine with it... It's also nice hot which is nice now the weather is a bit chilly! also experiment with your packs using it.... st clements in a vanilla pack is scrummy!!:D

I'm going to try St Clements in my vanilla pack bit later - never thought of it really - luvly!
I have been told by my LLC that the water flavours do not affect your ketosis, as a re-starter I have been allowed water flavours from day 1 of re-start but when I began my initial foundation we had to do the first week on plain water ONLY to show that we could do it!
I think the savoury flavours have a little carb in them which is why they are limited to max 2 a day.
There is an alternative which is Marigold Bouillion which is exactly the same & someone used it all through their programme - though I find it rather salty.
That's about all I know hun xxx

Be careful of the LL water flavourings as they contain inulin which can cause choccy waterfalls if you have too many! ;)

Ooops!!!

That could be why I've had bit of an issue today :eek: :eek: :eek: !!!
I forgot that they contained additonal fibre, great if you need a little assistance though :D

oh yeah! sorry, forgot to mention that - it can also make you windy! See how you go, tis great for getting the water down ya!

I've used the flavourings every day, with nearly every litre, since the first week. We were allowed to buy them immediately, no issues.

It hasnt effected my ketosis at all... I'm now on my 14th week and have lost exactly 4st 7lbs, in under the 3 months. So it cant have effected much at all :)
