    Hey Guys :)

I've got a recipe here for some low fat muffins that my bf wants me to cook buuuuuuuuuuuut its bloomin american!! gr!

So, it says 2 cups of plain flour.

Does anybody know what a 'cup' is equal to in dry measurement weight?

I know 1 cup = 8 fluid ounces but i need it for dry weight.

I hope somebody can help .... cant find it on the net :(

On average, one cup of flour is equivalent to 5 ounces. This can vary ever so slightly between the likes of pre-mixed cake flour, which is 4.5 ounces and strong bread flour, which is about 5.5 ounces.
