can syns be rolled over?

hi there... im a bit fed up with myself... lost 2lbs in first week and ive come down with a bug and really messed my diet up with donuts, wine, crisps!! all counted up to 30od syns! :( can they be used how you like during the week as long as it doesnt exceed the 105 ? xx

LOADS of threads on this subject - some do, some don't.

I don't save my syns, I just take each day as it arrives. My advice would to be forget the 30syns you have had and concentrate on the rest of the week in front of you. Don't dwell on the past - take a deep breath in and stride forward to you next weight loss! x

Don't beat yourself up, we all have little blips & they shouldn't effect you to much if you count & move on :)

I know there's a great debate about syn shuffling but I've always done it - I usually save them all up for curry & wine on a Friday!

I've never seen it effect my weight loss, even on weeks where I don't do it & behave I lose about the same.

I think it depends on the person, I find it works, others don't. Do what feels right for you, we're all taking very different routes for the same journey!

My c says to use them weekly for a treat as she says your body doesn't know what day of the week you ate them so as long as you don't go over the weekly limit you will be fine!
