Can't believe it.... How stupid...

4 days off work starting today... great start (or not) ... Thrown out of routine because I ain't gotta get up at 7am and walk to the bus stop blah blah blah... so I get up at 1pm (lazy!)... straight downstairs... smell the bacon my mum is cooking (yet again) ... and make 2 ham rolls... :eek:

... yes I ate them this time...

CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I'm SO gutted... of course I knew what I was doing, but I guess I just didn't think. What does mum say...? "oh... well I'm making spag bol tonight, do you want some? Or if you want something healthy I've bought some salmon 4 you if you fancy it"


I definately think that spending 4 days at home with my mum around is one of my triggers... she is gunna do my head in. I need to go out somewhere before I end up pulling my hair out...

You know the funny thing is I am almost envious. But that is also because I am bored.
Chin up girl, just one day at a time I am sure the rest of today will be fine and tomorrow you will be back on track.
Claire you really need to sort this out, you are cheating regularly now and by your own admission you know what you are doing. You are always going to face triggers during your time on lighter life but you need to be able to resist them otherwise you are going to put all that weight back on again.
You said that you 'didnt think' the truth is you did think, we think before every action we take. You need to control what you are thinking or make sure you talk yourself out of it.
The softly softly approach of support doesnt seem to be working with you as you keep doing it. You are in control claire, not the food and not anyone else. You need to deal with the situations that happen. Do not make excuses like ' i just didnt think' thats what got all of us into being so overweight in the first place.

Oh misses, what are you like!!! :) I think you MUST have a heart to heart with your mum....you may be right in thinking she is your trigger, and without sounding harsh, she is becomming your worst enemy when it comes to this diet - though surely her intentions are good - but I think you need to lay down the law!!!!

Now turn your nose away next time, and remember who is in control....and hold your head high and tell yourself, "I will have one of those ham rolls....but just not today".

Come on kiddo - grab those reigns back again. :)

Oh Claire, I know it's a struggle but you can do it .... you've done it before and succeeded and you can do it again.

See now where I can say your mum shouldsn't say she's bought 'you' salmon, she didn't ask you to have a bacon roll .......... come on honey, fight these inner thoughts ---- make a list of little goals that you can achieve and put them in your sig or in a document somewhere and cross them off as you do them. Taking those little steps really help me on the big journey.

Oh Claire.....I can't believe what I've just read! Yes, what are we going to do with you? And hey, don't go blaming your mum! OK OK, she shouldn't be buying you salmon etc etc, that's not being very supportive, but at the end of the day it is your responsibility what YOU put in your mouth.

Just think how great you'll feel when you reach your goal and you're ready for summer and all those lovely clothes out there you can buy and show off your lovely slim bod. And best of all you don't have to do LL again!

Just because we've got 4 days off instead of 2 doesn't give us licence to eat.

We all know you can do it. Kick that willpower in the but girl. Tomorrow's another day....a new start. :flowers:

Claire? Can't you tell your mum that in future you will sort all your own meals out? You need to be taking control of your eating and you aren't if you are eating what your mum buys/cooks and and also eating at the time she cooks. You are doing so well with the weight losing aren't you so you have to really get your head around the "control" thing.
