cheating and weight loss

    Has anyone cheated once in a week and still loss. Had a shameful 'blip' today, but am desperate to still lose something.

    Yup. I've cheated. Wouldn't say I was proud of it, nor trot out that old "never did me any harm" but the proof lies in weigh ins.

    My losses that week weren't great but they weren't horrendous either. But I did resolve to get back on and get on with it. I could have let that one blip be the ruin of the diet, or I treat it as is, as a blip and get on with it.

    I think the trick lies in not letting a blip become a "sod it" having the rest of the day/week off. Its a one time mistake. Thats all.

    I really struggled with bingeing last week. Glad to say its resolved now though.

    Now I always make sure I have a tetra/bar in my bag, just oin case.

    i agree about keeping a bar or tetra with you....

    i have come sooooooo close a few times and thank god i had something i could fall back on... like Lexie said, whats done is done don't dwell on it and you will be fine.
