So here I am at the doorway of the CD House once again. Messed about for far too long and have managed to do exactly what I vowed I would never, no, could never do......I've regained most of my weight.

Feeling pretty down, but reckon you have to hit rock bottom before determination takes over so watch this space.

For those of you who have bothered to keep reading, let me give you the background. I did LL for 100 days before switching to CD, started at 16st1lb and got down to 10st10lb in Dec 2005. I felt absolutley flipping fantastic.

Hovered between 11st - 11 1/2st until April last year though I was trying to get down to 10st. I kept trying to stick with SS, but it was all a bit half hearted by then.

Following a holiday in April I've just gone up and up and had more day 1's than I can count. I'm now 14st 7lb and very cross with myself.

What have I learned?

Not to aim too low, I should've stabilised at 11st, I felt good there (that's why I started cheating and taking breaks:confused:)
Not to cheat....it's a slippery slope.

Sure I've learned lots more but don't want to bore you!

Day 1...feeling empowered!

Evening All

Thanks for your support ladies, you're right 3 months and I might be there and ready to stabilise.

So far so good today, drank about 2 lt of water so far and peed about 20000lt it seems:confused: What's all that about eh?

I spent my lunch break playing with the Kodak digi thing in Boots, great way to keep away from food. I grabbed a bottle of water on my way in and I'd drunk it all by the time I paid for it along with my prints:D I printed off some pics from last years hol, a great way to inspire me to get back to that weight too. I did this 8" x 6" collage photo thingy with 8 of my pics randomly sized, dotted all over it. Don't think I'm explaining it very well, but believe me it's really cool so if you don't know what I'm on about (you probably do cos I'm generally the last to find out about tech stuff, so it's probably old to you!) go down to Boots and distract yourself from food and find yourselves some inspiration. I'm going to frame mine and sit it on my dressiing table to spur me on each day.

Enjoyed my train ride home, sat and read my book, "Thursdays at 8", a bit chick lit but entertaining. Just helped DS with his french homework, not set eyes on DD yet, she's round her boyfriends house, she's 14 and soooooo in lurve she wants to spend every waking minute with him. Not long now before I'll be uttering the imortal words my mum used to spout, you know, "You treat this house like a hotel" and "While you're under my roof...." Ha ha, always said it wouldn't happen but just has to be done!!

DH should be the one to worry really, it seems I will turn into my mother after all!

Speaking of DH, he's in London today at the premier for Terry Pratchetts, Colour of Magic, which will be on over Easter. Hope he enjoys it and comes home in good mood!

Not for me the glamour of a star studded film premier, oh no, I'm off now to live the high life in Lidl! Just need to pick up some bits and bobs for packed lunches tomorrow.

Must just nip to the loo once more........

Thank you friends, it's lovely to be back in the fold. I've been lurking about but not part of the gang, self enforced exile! Really feel in a good (desperate????) place now, and ready to succeed.

How you doing?

Oh tell me about it, I'm black and blue! I can hear myself saying that I would never become one of the statistics that showed dieters reagian their weight. Never, ever would I put it back on, oh no I was to be slim and healthy forever......ha seems I, along with many others, have eaten my words, along with too much dinner!!!

Oh well, this time eh? Hope you find yourself in the right place for you, sometime soon. XX

Hi Cheb,
My story is the same as yours; lost it, loved it, regained it, tried to ss a million times, but this time, 2 weeks ago, something has clicked! My head is in the right place and i am being good, if not quite 100%. I have had demons to fight along the way, but they are loosing this time.

Good luck with it, hope your head is in the right place. We all know this diet is 100% mental.

Hi Becky

Sorry to hear that you also re-gained. I guess we're part of the same set of statistics, but not for long eh? Great to hear that you're focused now, hope I still feel the same two weeks on.

Day 2 in the CD House, todays task......

Been ok so far, had a bit of a wobble when the jelly babies pitched up on my desk, soon chucked 'em back out to play else where though!

Spent my lunch break school trouser shopping for DS, probably spend tomorrows returning them! It's sooo difficult to find a good fit for him, he's a bit rotound and a bit short. Still distracted me from food.

DD is off to a 60's roller blading party tonight, so I'm off to create a bee-hive, not sure how you do one, a bit before my time but I'll give it a go!

Not drunk enough water so must go glug some more in a minute.

Hope everyone is staying strong

Week 1 in the CD House......almost done!!!!

Hello

A few blips along the way, I have to confess I haven't managed 100% but on the whole I've stayed on track.

Nevertheless, will try even harder next week to stop any nibbling!!

I will weigh tomorrow morning, I'm hoping for 5lb off. Would have been more if I'd been totally food free but it'll be a good start.

Been a busy week this week, work has been manic for the last month or so and the paperwork has built up. I brought a stack home with me to tackle in front the telly over the weekend, sad but true!

Managed an hour down our beach hut this pm for a quick coffee, watched some athletic types kite surfing, great to watch but looks terrifying!

Took DS to see Be KInd Rewind yesterday, neither of us were particularly enamoured by it, in fact I had a little doze!

Hope you've all had a great week.
