Hello SW Minis

Did anyone see Ken Hom this morning on Sat Morn Kitchen? Did a lovely spicey noodle dish and it got me thinking. I love chinese food and could like on the stuff, but way too many syns in it. So lets have a thread that we add out sw chinese meals to, which are either syn free or low in syns?

I'll start it off with sweet n sour chicken for 1.5 syn's for the dish on EE and Red (same on Green just use more veggies instead of chicken or quorn):

Half a large carton of passata
3 tbsp White or red wine vinegar
Granulated sweetner
1 tbsp tom puree (1/2)
1tsp cornflour mixed in a little water
2 red peppers and 2 yellow peppers
Juice and zest of a lemon
2 tsp five spice
Handful of bean sprouts
4 chicken breasts (chopped)

In fry light, fry your chicken, add your peppers and also mushrooms. Now add passatta, tom puree, zest and juice of lemon, vinegar, sweetner and simmer for 5 mins. Add 5 spice and cornflour mix and simmer for 2 more mins. Add beansprouts and serve on rice or noodles.

This is yummy, you may want to add more vinegar to taste at the end if it hasn't given you enough of a sour taste.

Enjoy :D
